Which one would you choose? Deluxe/Moderate/Value?

How long would you rather stay or where would you rather stay?

  • 3 days at the Deluxe resort

  • 2 days at the Deluxe Concierge

  • 4 days at Deluxe/Moderate (split)

  • 6 days at Deluxe/Value (split)

  • 8 days at Moderate resort

  • 10 days at Moderate/Value (split)

  • 14 days at Value resort

If you had a choice between staying longer or staying shorter depending on the resort, which would it be? So you chose shorter cause you like staying at a deluxe resort.

I just wanted to know if people would rather stay at a deluxe with shorter stay or value with much longer stay.

Sorry if I have confused you. Thanks for responding.

I would choose 14 days in a value, but only if it was Pop Century!! Not any of the others. If it couldn't be Pop, I would choose 8 days at POFQ!!!
But, since we are now DVC SSR owners, we can stay 14 days in a deluxe, home away from home! YEAH!!!

I just wanted to add to my origional post on the subject, with a family of five our choices of resorts are limited. I voted for the 8 day at a moderate since some can handle five. I do not think any of the value resorts can accomodate this many people? I am sure if I asked our kids, they would stay longer. ::MickeyMo Luckily I am able to stay at SOG but I am not sure what they are considered as far as resort quality? :confused3

I don't understand this poll either.
Couldn't vote because we'd rather spend 14 nights at deluxe concierge,or a suite, than anything else. I guess then, we'd have to vote for the 3 days at deluxe, and just do that FIVE TIMES OVER!
There are plenty of people that do not have to make these choices! Thank goodness! :goodvibes

I'm happy for you that you don't have to make those kinds of decisions. There are also plenty of people who do. I wish I were in the former category, but the choices I've made seem to have left me in the latter.

I really am not trying to be sarcastic, so I hope it doesn't sound that way in a post. I am happy that you can go 15 days in concierge or suite. I'm also not complaining about my status, because at least I can plan a trip to Disney every couple of years and I'm not worrying about the essentials like a roof over my head, food, and clothing.

That's just rude.

I would rather stay longer than stay at a deluxe for a shorter time! We don't really spend time in the room anyway, so it's not necessary for us to spend extra money on a deluxe.

14 days at a value resort mostly because i'm basically only going to use my hotel for one thing... sleeping, as i do with a majority of my vacations. While the deluxe resorts are nice, as long as i have a clean bed and a clean room (which all resorts on the disney property do) i am as happy as a clam.

Having money and having manners obviously have nothing to do with each other in your case. :snooty:

I'd vote for as long as possible. 14 days, 14 weeks, 14 months... :goodvibes
14 days--something to shoot for with the next trip! :Pinkbounc

I know it wasn't on the list of options, but 14 days at a Home Away From Home. I've got finicky eatin' kids.

If it were just me and my wife, then I'd go 14 days at a Value Resort. More days, more fun. All we'd do in the room is sleep/recover and head back out for more.

Hmmm That doesn't sound to nice it is kinda rude  .... Sure There are people who don't have to make the choice to stay lower then deluxe concierge , we don't prefer to waste money places that you don't even get to enjoy. Least for us when we go to disney we are not in the room unless to sleep or shower. Sure deluxe is nice but hey your at disney, most people are not there to lounge around everyday to make use of what you are spending A room is a room aslong as it is clean!! I say go for longer spend less on the hotel and more on enjoying what is there to do. and shopping, and shopping, and more shopping!! Thats where my money likes to go to hehehe

There's nothing wrong with being able to afford 14 days of Deluxe Concierge. There are people who post about their expensive vacations in a very sweet, gracious, and appreciative manner. But it is very tacky to BRAG about what one can afford.

I picked 8 days at a Moderate.

I would rather stay a long time in one place. However, I won't stay at a Value resort for more than a couple of days.

We have stayed at the GF, CSR and off-site a few times. For the money you pay at the GF you could spend a month at the other places, give me more time at WDW anytime!!! princess:
