We will be going on Sunday in three weeks. Have been checking the menus and Confisco Grill and Mythos menus seem very similar. Which one will you choose for lunch with husband and kids.

Can't go wrong with either.I would go with confiscos if your kids are at all picky, and Mythos if they aren't
.We love the food at Confiscos a little more these days, but we love atmosphere and décor at Mythos more.

Thanks for your replies. Kids are very picky so Confisco's will be a good choice

We ate at Mythos when we were there a few weeks ago. You will need to be aware that the pagers they give you do not work outside. The hostesses did not tell us that, and a hostess at one point came outside and asked if anyone had a certain pager number, watched while I looked at ours (it was not out number), but yet, when they apparently buzzed our pager and we did not respond, no one came outside. This kind of colored our opinion of the restaurant. When we moved to sit inside, because there were finally seats available, and watched people who we had seen enter the restaurant be seated ahead of us, DH went to the counter and they acted as if it were our fault for not knowing that their pagers did not work in the waiting area outside the restaurant. Not even an apology.
The food, after all that was just ok. I wished we had not spent the time and money eating there.

We like both but consider Confisco an undiscovered gem. The food is always fresh and tasty and I only wish that they were open in the evening.

Mythos by a country mile.

Our family of four have done both a few times. Confisco is good but Mythos is on a whole different level.

This summer was our first at Uni. We are foodies and we always do Disney Deluxe - most at signature restaurants. California Grill is my favourite.

I too, before going, was not impressed with Mythos' menu. After going there, and I don't say this lightly, for the money - considering the quality of the food, theming, and service - Mythos is probably the best "value" restaurant we have been to.

Try the beef medallions - medium rare.

Have fun!

I would vote for Mythos. It is our favorite restaurant. Besides having delicious food (there ARE choices for picky eaters), the atmosphere should not be missed.

I did not have that issue with my pager at all. Lots of people were outside with there pagers with no problem and I had wandered away rather far chasing after my son when ours went off! We also had amazing customer service when we went. I am sorry your experience was not a good one!

To the OP.. We loved Mythos and thought the food was great! We haven't tried Confiscos.

If I have one tip it would be if you do decide to dine at Mythos try not to get stuck at the table that has a window that looks into the lobby. The first little kid that stood in the window, pressed their nose against the glass and stared at us was funny. By the 5th or 6th person that decided to stare directly at us while we were eating we felt like an exhibit at the zoo.:rolleyes1
The atmosphere does look like it would be nice, just not at that table. The food was very very good though and we are eager to give it another try.:)

My family of four ate at Mythos and found the staff to be very accommodating with my kids. They didn't mind that my daughter who was 12 ordered off the children's menu. She wanted chicken fingers and mashed potatoes instead of fries. They allowed the substitution. The children's menu is pretty basic and I would think most picky eaters could find something to eat there. I had the beef medallions, my husband had the specialty burger and my son had a bacon cheese burger. We all thought the food was excellent.

I love Mythos. I've only had one bad experience there ever. Tho I think I may finally have to try Confisco this trip since I've never been.

We did lunch at Confisco our first day and Mythos our second! I am hard pressed to pick a favorite.

DS ordered pad thai at both. Two completely different variations and two very yummy meals!

I could never choose one over the other for food quality. Mythos atmosphere is unique. They win in that category.

Mythos would be my vote. I thought the kids menu was great at Mythos, I can't remember what the kids ate, but I know they ate, so it must have been good for picky eaters.

We at at both Mythos and Confiscos last week. I still give the edge to Mythos.

We ate at Mythos 3 times and CG twice this trip..........Mythos just has the edge for us this year.

Food was still good but the Confisco Pad Thai just let it down a bit this time, but Mythos was out the park for food and service.

Mythos did give my 20 year old son who doesn't drink anyway, an alcoholic drink by mistake one visit. He asked me to taste it and boy could I smell the liquor straight away............they changed it immediately. Waiter wondered if someone else was drinking his non alcoholic version thinking it was very weak :rotfl:

But both are good......can't go wrong with either........fajitas from Confisco were gorgeous!! And huge portion!

I just saw on trip advisor that mythos does have an outdoor patio....DONE!! So happy.
