Which one to choose?

We are planning a WDW land/sea vacation for May of 2005.

Those going will be myself, and my DD4 - along with my parents -her grandparents. We did the same vacation this year and stayed at the Beach Club. We loved the resort. The room was great, everything was convenient, and it all seemed so perfect. However, this was our first trip ever (the horror! ) to WDW so I have nothing to compare it to. In planning our trip - we have a choice between the Swan, Dolphin, Beach Club and Aninmal Kingdom Resorts....which one would you choose and why? I'm looking for opinions and insight - thank you for all responses!

We have stayed twice at the Beach Club and four times at AKL. Our favorite is AKL. We have DD8 and DD11 and they love the animals, pool, bunkbeds and restaurants. Although some folks say AKL is a little removed from the rest of WDW, we've always found the buses to be convenient. If you stay at AKL, I would suggest a savannah view.

The BC has a great pool and is convenient to Epcot and MGM but overall we really like the feel of AKL. We even love the smell! When I upacked from a recent stay, the inside of our suitcases smelled like AKL. And I don't mean the animals! It must be a combination of the restaurants and a little Disney magic.

But really, you can't go wrong with either resort. Have fun!

AKL!!! You already sayed in the Epcot area and she would LOVE AKL!!! It's a bit out of the way compared to BC but the resort is amazing-not to mention the restaurants!!

Another vote for AKL. I absolutely loved it; the theming is incredible and I didn't mind being a little removed from it all... it added to the feeling of being far away in an exotic place...
