Which one should I drop?

I'm taking my Mom (73) and my niece (11) to WDW the first week in December. I need to drop 1 of our TS meals and can't decide on which one. My mom has been to WDW about 4-5 times and never eaten in a TS restaurant. The last time my niece was there was when she was 2 (almost 3). We did eat at LTT that trip and saw Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale. I have booked:

12/2 1900 Park Fare - dinner (MK day)
12/3 Chef Mickey's - dinner (AK day - MVMCP that night)
12/4 1900 Park Fare - breakfast (my mom mentioned she'd like to do this one) (DHS day)
12/4 Sci-Fi Drive In - late lunch/early dinner (DHS day)
12/5 O'Hana breakfast (Epcot day)
12/5 Le Cellier - late lunch/early dinner (Epcot day).

So which one would you drop? I'm leaning toward the O'Hana breakfast since we'll have already seen Mickey, Minnie and Pluto at Chef Mickey's.

Well O'hana has Lilo and Stitch and Mickey and Pluto so its a little different plus they are in different outfits.
If I was choosing one... I would say SCi-Fi. The food to me is less than average there. If not that one... then I am not sure. You have 1900 on there twice but they are different characters for dinner and bfast. Chef Mickeys is my favorite. Le Cellier however is not our favorite, we stopped going there years ago after 2 bad experiences in a row but most like it. I would def say Sci-Fi. Maybe you could go in there just for dessert? 50's Prime Time is our fav place at DHS. :confused3

I'd drop one of the Park Fares. Your mom has mentioned she'd like to do breakfast there, so I'd drop the dinner. That way you still get to experience all those different restaurants. Definitely wouldn't drop Sci-Fi or LeCellier. Character meals are fun, but it's nice to get a break from them too.

you've got 1900 twice so that might be a good one to drop (just one of them of course).

Sci-Fi would be my second choice to drop.

I would say one of the Park Fare's as well. )Although our breakfast there was such fun with the Mad Hatter). Is paying for one of the breakfasts out of pocket an option? Sci Fi will probably be fun for your neice and we like the burgers at lunch time. If it were dinner, I would say to cancel that one. The dinner food didn't thrill us at all.

I vote to drop dinner at Park Fare. Good place, but once per trip should suffice. Last time we had breakfast at PF we thought it was the best on property.:earsboy:

Definitely Sci-Fi ... the food is not good. If you want to experience the atmosphere, go in and have dessert. Grab counter service at Backlot Express instead.

thats tough. Last trip we did breakfast and dinner at 1800 PF and it did seem a little excessive. I would get rid of the breakfast, the mad hatter was a little too much to handle in the morning for me. However, the step sisters at dinner were really funny, and it is the only place where you can meet Prince Charming! I enjoyed dinner much more.

Like the PPs, you could drop a 1900 Park Fare since you have two, though my "first drop" suggestion would be the Sci-Fi. It was the WORST dining experience we had on our trip last month...I can't tell you how disappointed we were!! Very poor, slowwww service; greasy ribs that gave both of us terrible stomach aches -- just not good.

The atmosphere was the single best thing about the restaurant. Other than that, it wasn't worth eating there, and we won't be going back.

That said...everyone's tastes are different. Maybe ours just didn't gel with the Sci-Fi.

I agree with dropping Sci-Fi. We didn't like the food but enjoyed the atmosphere, just try to go there for dessert.

Before yesterday it would have been. DH just got hit yesterday with a big reduction in benefits/pay. So much for the recession being over. Since we have free dining I'm now really trying to keep to the 5 TS meals we get and keep my OOP budget as low as possible. The trip itself is already paid for and luckily we've always lived well below our means so while it hurts, we won't be in as bad a situation as some others.

Based on everyone's recommendations I think we'll drop Sci-Fi. Since the trip is mostly for my niece I'm sure she'll prefer the character meals and my mom really wants to see Mary Poppins and the Mad Hatter.

I guess I am in the minority here but I would drop Chef Mickeys. I was just not impressed with anything at CMs but have always been please with 1900 PF. I have only been for breakfast so I don't know anything about the other meals.

I have also never been to Sci-Fi, so I would want to try it out for myself.
