Which one should I cut? Teppan Edo, Coral Reef, or Cape May?

Hello everyone...

I am debating between three restaurants and I can only do two of them...

Teppan Edo and Coral Reef my wife have been to before, but we have never been to Cape May...we both love seafood (that would probably be a good detail for you to know! :))
However, we love Teppan Edo and Coral Reef and don't want to go somewhere where it could be disappointing...

So, I'm going to ask the DIS to help me...

What should we choose? Give us your top 2 out of these three...thanks! :)

I'd skip Cape May. We LOVE it for breakfast but is was very disappointing for dinner.

I've never been to Cape May so I couldn't tell you, but if it were me I would cut Coral Reef, really wasn't thrilled with the food their. My DH said he thought they used crab meat that had expired in the crab cakes we ordered. IDK but he's a chef so he probably does know.

I think if you like seafood, try Cape may Cafe. It has all you can eat crablegs, steamed clams, shrimp (peel and eat or fried) bbq ribs, etc. It really is not your standard buffet. Kevin just did a review there and really liked it.

skip Cape May. We had terrible food there. Teppan Edo is amazing!!!

I would cut Cape May. I also love seafood, and did not enjoy our dinner there, I thought the quality of the food was average, if that. We have enjoyed our meals at Teppan Edo and Coral Reef, especially Teppan Edo.

Another vote for cutting Cape May... food is mediocre and just not worth it in my opinion. But then again I am used to real seafood not the stuff they try to pass off as seafood.:scared1:

Never tried Coral Reef, but I've been to Cape May (okay food, not a fan of seafood) and Teppan Edo (pretty good food and entertaining, but local hibachies are way better).

I actually really enjoyed Cape May Cafe back in March and thought the food was delicious. Has something happened since then or did we get really lucky? Anyway, if I had to cut one, I'd cut Coral Reef, although I enjoy all three!

Ok was there just last month and ate at all three of those places. That would be a tough one for me. However we were very happy with our meal at Cape May and that being a buffet for the all you can eat might swing the vote for you. Of the three I think that I would if I had to choose drop the Teppan Edo. It was good. However we have finky people in our group but the cherry blossom martini would bring me back anytime. Oh maybe it would be coral reef as the waitress there was a little snarky but still a good meal just the service at the other two were well above that of coral reef.

only been to Teppan Edo (very enjoyable!) but if it were me I would probably cut Coral Reef. My reasoning for this is that I wouldn't ever feel comfortable seeing fish swimming around when I am eating their friends!
