We aren't used to table service restaurants in the theme parks oustide of Epcot - we've found food and service to be better at the resorts, (mgm can be an exception but not always) but anyway d-r wanted to try lunch here - about the same menu and less expensive than dinner.
I had the earls chicken which was very dry and not very good, but d-r had a fish with stilton crusted potatoes that he really enjoyed. He asked for the potatoes as a substitue and they were very accomodating. I don't remember what my mother had, but she was not impressed. The service was good, but I found the lord and lady stuff a little over the top and it got on my nerves. The setting was very nice though and if you haven't done it its worth a trip, but its not one I make will make a habit of, but another thing was it seems strange to be to pay that much for a meal and expect it to be of high quality and not be able to order a glass of wine - and sit downs in the MK just aren't my thing.
