Following the thread for how old you are, now I am curious about the Dis DVCer's annual household income

:D

I have to say, this is the first time our family income has been soooo close to the bottom bracket before! LOL Would love to meet some of you millionaires out there!!!

Sorry, when I set it up, I did not know where most of the people are. Had I known, I would have expanded the lower 2 bracket into 3.:D

Let's just say we are not getting the rebate check from the government.

You didn't include an option for "no ones business but my own" so I am adding it.

JMHO.

;)

Gee...first it was age, now income....what 's next weight and religion. ;) ;)

It is an anonymous poll...so feel free to dream. ;)

I think a good one would be IQ. I bet we would find that people with high IQ's tend to buy into DVC :)

I know the saying "curiosity kills the cat" but can't help it.:p

I bet I am not the only one who is curious where we stand among our "neighbors". :D

I would put in a category for "no vote, it is no one else's business" but only a moderator can modify this poll.:D

...works for Disney. She is gathering data on us to determine what $$$ per point we can afford so they'll know just where to set pricing.

that would be my dream job - working for Disney. :p

I sometimes wonder if the Dis DVCers really represent a good mix for the stereo typical DVC members....

I don't know of any reason to believe we wouldn't be an accurate cross section of the total membership.

Just to put this poll in context. Based on preliminary data from the IRS:

If in 2001, your adjusted gross income (AGI) on your federal income tax return was above $92,754 you were in the top ten percent (10%) of filers.

If your AGI for the same year was above $292,913 you were in the top one percent (1%) of filers.

Median AGI in 2001, which means that 50% of filers had AGI above and 50% of filers had AGI below, was $28,117.

Keep in mind that tax returns for dependents, which tend to be in the bottom 10%, will depress these numbers somewhat.

I like this poll. However, it should be noted that $150,000 is a lot more dough if you have no kids, vs five kids.
It really is not intrusive, as nobody has to link their income to their identity.

And disposal income can vary greatly by where a person lives and the salary scales.

Rumor has it that Doc owns the maximum at two resorts.

Wow...I'm feeling really poor.:( Except when I'm on vacation;)

wow, i'm surprised that there are so many above $100k.
i thought DVC owners were more middle class? at least that is what previous income threads on this board have indicated. maybe everyone just calls themselves "middle class" anyway?

i've also read about the top 10% of US filers figure that Jim C posted...
so the poll results really surprise me.

it looks like a little more than half of the DVC members on this board are very well off. ;)
