Ok, I know I can visit any. Here is how I "think" we would use it.

One week in early June. Or possibly March, any time.

Looking for one that isn't always swamped and high energy. And even though I will be bring my 2 little ones, I'd like one that maybe has less kids than most, if possible. I need some decompression time.

First thoughts?

OKW - but I can relax here - no problems

you might also enjoy BCV or VWL - there rooms are smaller - but their location is much, much better. BCV near Epcot, VWL boat ride to MK.

but for relaxing you can't beat OKW (my opinion)

this resort is very laid back - some people love it - others hate it. very few are in the middle about okw.

Perhaps you'll like the homey feeling of OKW. It reminds me of an apt. complex with friendly people and lots of things to do. Have you ever stayed there?

I would say OKW because it is more like a vacation home than a hotel room. We love the 1 and 2 bedroom villas for the space and huge balcony. I could easily stay at OKW without even going to the parks if I didn't want to, but that probably isn't going to happen anytime soon!

I'd recommend VWL or OKW. BCV and BWV are great but both are VERY popular and boardwalk can get busy during summer time.

VWL is very peaceful and with tall pine trees shielding the resort. Something else to consider. VWL is very close to MK, a plus with two small children, and it's the smallest DVC resort on-site so having the 11 month ressie window will be helpful during Spring Break/Easter season.

I would also agree OKW for laid back and relaxed. But less kids? WDW without kids around is a contradiction in terms> :rotfl2:

I would buy a resale @ OKW, but consider staying @ SSR when you don't want as many kids around. I think we will see SSR turn into a resort that is frequented by more adults than kids due to it's proximity to DTD/PI.

I think because OKW has been around the longest and the most people have enjoyed it, it gets the top nod here. That said, I think you would find a similar atmosphere at SSR too. The biggest difference to me is that one contract ends much sooner than the other. It effected my decision to buy SSR instead of OKW and I don't regret it at all. If you would be unhappy at SSR though, don't buy in there just for the extra year. Wont be worth it in the long run.
