Which one first?

I can't make my ADRs untill Sunday and I'm starting to panic.

I would like to book the following,

8/26 Chef Mickeys - dinner
8/27 Coral Reef - dinner
8/28 Mama Melrose - dinner Fantasmic package
8/29 Crystal Palace - breakfast - before park opening
8/30 Les Chefs - dinner around 5:00 to see Remy
8/31 Yak & Yetti - dinner - latest available
9/1 Rose & Crown - dinner for Illuminations

Which ones will be the hardest to get?
Which ones should I have back-ups for?
What order should I use for booking?

I've made ADRs on-line twice before and never had any problems (I even got LeCellier twice!), but I'm not feeling very confident this time.

I need your expert advise!

The Fantasmic package will be the toughest out of what you listed.

Yak and Yeti probably the easiest.

I made my ADRS on Monday at 5 am when online opened. The most difficult reservation was Fantasmic DP at Mama Melrose. There were no dinner options open so I took a lunch ressie. Crystal Palace breakfast can also be challenging, especially if you want prior to park opening. Rose and Crown would be a top priority as well if you want to be there during Illuminations. I would suggest making the one that is most important to you first and go down the line to one that you could find an alternative for if needed.

I would book F package first. I booked on the 22nd and was able to get F package for Mamma Melrose at 4:05 for Aug 28th. Not a great time but I took it. I'm still adding and changing ADRs and everything I have searched for is still available. Good luck Sunday.

I'm wondering if I should waste time trying to book the Fantasmic package, I know you need to give your credit card number so it takes longer to book.

If I book everything else first and call for the package do you think I would have a better chance of getting it? Or could I just book dinner at Mama melrose for around 5:00 and still be able to see Fantasmic? (I wouldn't be able to get the appitizer added to the dining plan but if we really wanted it we could pay oop.

My other thought is to just book dinner at the Captains Grill and then head to HS and if the lines are not terrible see the show.

My DD8 really wants Chef Mickeys as our arrival day dinner, I hope they have something left.

I agree, it will be F! mama Melrose, then crystal Palace, Chefs , Chef Mickey and then the others.

The Package can be bought online under dining events. I had no problem booking it 2 days ago.

If you wait until 7 am EST to book F! I think there's a fair chance that you will have missed your chance. Also just booking a meal at Mama Melrose won't get you the preferred seating for F! so if that's something you want then you should make it your first priority. I agree with the pp that R&C in time for Illuminations will be in high demand as will CP for a pre-park opening time. Good Luck!

OK, I think I have a plan,

I'll try F! package first then Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, Rose & Crown, Coral Reef,Les Chefs and finally Yak & Yetti. If I can't get Mama Melrose for F! then I will book something either around the boardwalk or in World Showcase for around 5:00 and when we finish we will head to HS and get in line!

Does this sound like it will work?

After a few computer glitches I got everything I wanted.
I tried to start with the F! package but ran into a lot of computer problems - it said my reservation didn't qualify to book in advance!

I went ahead and booked everything else first then returned to the F! package and it finally worked. I booked Chef Mickeys first then Crystal Palace (b'fast), Rose & Crown,Coral Reef, Les Chefs, Yak & Yetti, Mama Melrose (F!)and San Angel (as a back-up in case my family has a problem with lunch at MM - don't worry I will cancel which ever we don't need asap!)

This was definately much harder than in the past. I love the new system but I think my problems were caused because we booked our room on RCI points and the reservation is in DH's name not mine.

I did get Chef Mickeys for our arrival day. It's a little later than I wanted
(7:45) so I'll just keep checking for an earlier time.

I'm sure I will keep tweeking mine too! It will give me something to do for the next six months!

When I pull up my reservations on the disney site under "MY Reservations" it does not say Fantasmic package but if I look at the confirmation e-mail it does state Fantasmic package.

Check your e-mail, I always print out each e-mail confirmation and bring them with me!

I booked a 4pm at the Brown Derby( I started my reservations at 6:10am). I had to switch some days around but, I got everything we wanted. Booked a few extra OOP, plus there is always 1 reservation we just don't make it to (heat, rain, tired,etc) Hope you are happy with yours!

I noticed this too. When you just look at the list of your reservations, it does not say F! package. But when you click on it to open the details, it does say it. It caused a brief nervous moment for me as well.

Yes, Thank you we are happy too. My daughter was excited about getting her steakapalooza on at Disney. My boys are glad, mom can't fuss at them about eating off the grown up menu. My husband and I just sigh blissfully and think vacation.

I wanted to book 9/1 at the Brown Derby, but it would not show the dates for anything but 8/28. So that put a big wrench in the very specific plans at 6am this morning, had to some on the fly shifting.
