We will be going to DSL from Monday, April 7th - Wednesday, April 9th. Which park would be better to go to on Monday for EE and then should I pick a different on on Tuesday for EE? Then I just figure we will go back to things we missed on Wednesday at both parks. I will have an 18 year old with me and a young 70 year old so no little ones. Any suggestions - this is our first time to DSL.

DLR is not like WDW where you must decide where to go each day. The parks are so close you can park hop back and forth all day long. Experienced DLR visitors rarely dedicate an entire day to either park at DLR. What we do personally is decide which park to start at. Since DL opens two hours earlier during busy season (which it will be in early April), we usually start at DL. Then we hop to DCA at some point.

Only DL has EE, so I would start at DL on Monday with EE and start Wed at DL as well because there is no EE for anyone so you will not be a disadvantage. Tuesday would then be the best day to spend more of the day at DCA. If you can get up early then start at DL before hopping, but if you want a slower morning then sleep in and start Tuesday at DCA. For all three days though I would recommend hopping at least once to take advantage of differences in opening and closing times as well as Fastpass collecting.

Thank you....... huge help- did not know a lot about EE yet. Just started planning but I am making some progress.

Where are you planning on staying?

If staying at one of the 3 DLR hotels you will have EE available on Mon AND Tues.

If you stay at a good neighbor motel on Harbor Blvd across the street (& buy a 3 day pass), you will probably only get one day EE (which is why HydroGuy suggests on Mon. morn using your DL EE).

Also, click on HydroGuy's Tips link at the bottom of his post. An amazing source of information. Saved my family hours & hours of time on our DLR visits.

Have fun. :thumbsup2
