I will be buying 2park/ one day ticktets since I'm going with a friend who's not into rides that much, and I think we can cover both parks in one day if we go straight to what we want to see. Anyhow I'm not really sure to which park go first, I would really enjoy the water rides and the mild rides, not the super cranky ones ( chicken here) . So what do you experts suggest I try first, should I be at my preferred park early in the morning or hit the one that I don't like that much first so I'll have the rest of the day for the one that I really like?:confused3 Which park do you reccomend best , we're 2 young adults (28-32) and never been to any of the parks. Thanksssssssssssssss!:hippie:

I'd probably go for USF first if I were you. It has lots of "mild" attractions to enjoy. For me, IOA is all about Hulk, Spiderman, and Dueling Dragons, which don't sound like you'd enjoy them!! At USF, there are plenty of shows (Animal Actors, Fear Factor, Beetlejuice, Shrek, Earthquake, et. al.) and mild rides like Jaws, ET, Johnny Neutron (don't know if you'd consider that one mild...motion simulator), and MiB if you take take some mild spinning. You could probably do Twister too (more of a show) and Terminator 3D if you don't mind an intense show (in my view, it is the BEST 3D show ever!!).

Then, hit the mild stuff at IOA later...not sure if the water rides there would be mild enough for you, as they all have drops except Popeye's/Blutos, and it is quite intense for a raft ride. IMO, there's lots more mild stuff at USF so if you hit all that first, you can take your time at IOA.

I think you should do IoA first. If you can get there before the park opens in the morning do so. While to many IoA is a thrill park it also does have other attractions. One of the best parts is that for that first hour after opening just about everything in the park is a walk on. I can do everything in the park and be done by noon during slower times of the year. If you skipping attractions you can get done even earlier.

The thing about Universal is that everything takes time. Most attractions have preshows which are much longer then the attraction itself. I prefer to do the shorter attractions while the lines are short so I can get as much done as quickly as possible before the lines build later in the day.

If you're going when it's warm, go to Studios first and then IOA in afternoon....if it's hot, you'll want the water rides to cool off!

IOA first, even if you don't want to do the big thrill rides.

You can ride Spiderman, Jurassic Park and a few others before heading over to USF. The problem with doing the water rides at IOA is you'll get soaked if you go on Rip Saw Falls or Popeye, and that's not good if you're staying a few more hours. You can ride JPRA in the back and only get a little splash.

You can get thru IOA in a couple hours if you arrive the parking garage at 8am. USF is mostly shows and movie attractions that hold a lot of people, so you can go there in the afternoon. Use single rider line for The Mummy and MIB.

snce you have never been to universal before, go to the studios side first.
that's where the movies come alive and started universal 's popularity.

if you are not into thrill rides, there are many shows there.
beetlejuice, horror make up show, T2, twister and the actors who are the image of the stars that walk around the park.
rides such as shrek, jimmy neutron, ET are based on the movies.

hit IOA for seussland, no matter your age, it is themed perfectly and what you have read in the Dr. Seuss books, all of it come alive.......in a sort of way..

a couple of shows you might want to take in are poseidon's adventure and the sinbad show.

all of the above named rides/attractions are quite low key and tame.

show do take up a large portion of the day though
