We are meeting my sister's family in WDW for dinner one night of our vacation, and was thinking of either Chef Mickey's or Whispering Canyon Café (which I have never been), but sounds like fun. Party will be pretty large (I know CM will break us up in 2 tables), would WCC do the same or can they better accomodate a larger party? (total would be 10 adults & 1 child) - I am leaning more towards WCC, because although 2yr old loves CM, WCC sounds like it would be a blast w/large party, especially since my sisters kids would totally get into the whole thing. What's your opinion? Has anyone ever gone there with that large a party??

Whispering Canyon is a great choice to eat at with a large group! It does make things there twice as fun. We are a rowdy, loud family so we enjoyed it! There's plenty of entertainment for everyone the entire meal.

CM is my choice . I love the food there. However,,,,,,

Since you have a large party , I like the WCC you will have lots more fun there.:yay:

Enjoy!!

We definately liked WCC over Chef Mickey's.

We like both but WCC is one of our very favourites. We have dined there once with a large party (12 people) and they put us all together at a big round table. It was a great time.

I pick WCC! We LOVED IT! The food was better and so was the atmosphere then CM. Don't get me wrong for a character dinner CM is worth it, but with a large family I think WCC HANDS DOWN!!!

Just disappointed they had to put us at 2 tables, that stinks. Hopefully we can push them together and make one large one. Better at least be next to each other. This place sounds like a blast. My sister's family is gonna love it! Tell me more about it, I hear the ketchup, what else?

We loved CM for breakfast but it's really crowded, especially with the characters. We did WC for dinner and loved it. I feel it's much better suited for large, loud groups.

I would choose Whispering Canyon...a fun place for a large group. We have eaten dinner there and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. I prefer breakfast at Chef Mickey's!
