Which one Christmas food are you looking forward to?

Those After Eights in the individual packets are just the naughtiest things, I love them! :cloud9:

I've resisted these so far, might have to get a couple of bags when I'm out shopping on Thursday ;)

I remember being allowed to drink a Babycham one Christmas and feeling so grown-up! :rotfl:

Hmmm looking forward to the old pig in a blanket, we have them once a year but i eat enough to last me a year.

I can't think of anything we have that isn't around all year. I buy a turkey every few weeks and I often make a few Christmas Puddings in the summer. This year we're having a Chocolate Christmas Pudding from Hotel du Chocolat, I have also bought an obscenely expensive box of quality chocolates from them, so maybe they will become the "Christmas only" things.

ooh, Gill I love those big slabs Hotel de chocolat do, you know the ones with nuts and biscuit etc all rolled in them, in fact I don't think theres a product they do that I don't like!

There's a Hotel de Chocolat in Manchester and I can't walk past without going in 'just to look'......

especially if they're out with samples eh? ;)

Have you tried their chocolate Christmas pudding?

I've also bought their chocolate crackers this year.

Well, I'll be around about 3pm ok? ;) (oh, and can I have clotted cream on the pud too?)

Sadly Carol, there are only 8 crackers in a box, and there are 8 of us for lunch........ or you'd have been welcome....though Cornwall to Wiltshire is along drive!

but it doesn't count when there's chocolate at the end of it! :rotfl2:

Hope you have a great time anyway....with LOTS of chocolate :thumbsup2

Toblerone - I only ever seem to get it at Christmas. Looking forward to having it again.

I had a snowball last night :thumbsup2 it was in a fit of abigails-party-style nostalgia! yum, I'd forgotton how nice they are.
I agree with the shell on nuts though, and dates were always xmas-only fodder. My dad used to crack the nuts using just his bare hands - It was his party trick :rotfl2:

Wow thats a film I've not seen in ages - Its so funny!

I agree, along with a snowball you have to make the cheese and pineapple hedgehog and serve a variety of vol-o-vants :rotfl:
