Which one? Cape May or Ohana breakfast?

We have never been to either Ohana or Cape May breakfast. We would be going on our HS day & coming from CSR.

To get to Ohana we'd take a bus to MK that morning & then ride the monorail to Ohana. [Or is there an better way?]

How do you get to Cape May by bus in the morning from CSR?

Which is the better breakfast? I like all the characters at Cape May but only 2 of the ones at Ohana. But then Ohana's menu & not a buffet set up sounds good to me. As we've tried neither both sound fun.

I really think the one that we want to go to is the one that would be the easiest for us to get to from CSR by bus in the morning & then to HS after we eat. We are wanting to be to HS by 9:00.

Anybody want to help me out on the best way to go?

If you wanna go to HS, Cape May is easiest as its right by HS. You can take a boat to HS from the beach club, or just walk. Very simple!

I love Cape May. Its one of the quieter buffets to be honest. Food is great too. Characters are awesome. We loved it!! Although I also love Ohana, Cape May would be my pick in your situation. Going from Ohana to HS is a much longer ride.

The quickest and easiest way to get the Cape May from CSR would be a cab. Much easier than taking a bus to a park and then a bus over to Beach Club.

We love Ohana, and I would definitely try it at some point if you haven't. I think their food is better than any of the breakfast buffets. Ohana is not a buffet but not really a menu place either, there is a set fare that's all you can eat that they bring to your table (think Liberty Tree Tavern if you've been there). However if you are trying to make it to DHS by 9:00 coming from Beach Club would be easier.

As the PP said, the easiest way from CSR to Cape May is taxi, but if you are going to use Disney transportation the easiest way is a bus from CSR to DHS and then either walk or take a boat from DHS to the Beach Club. It is usually faster to walk, depending on how long you wait for the boat and what kind of pace you walk at.

We much prefer Cape May breakfast to the 'Ohana breakfast. While it is a buffet, it is much more relaxed and quiet than most other buffets, a real different experience from Chef Mickey's or 1900 PF. Not nearly as chaotic.

I would go for Cape May...especially since your going to Hollywood Studios right after. Thats exactly what we did on our last trip..only we had a car so we drove, but its so close! I like Ohana too, but like other people said its more of a quiet buffet. I felt a lot more relaxed at Cape May than I did at Ohana, we were even able to see the characters twice at Cape May.

Thanks for the help. Sounds like Cape May would be the best choice & I don't mind a walk from there to HS. Chip & Dale sound cute plus I love Minnie & Goofy!

Two more questions:

Any idea how much a taxi would cost from CSR to the Beach Club?

Also, were exactly is it located. We have eaten at Yauchmann's once...but that is my only experience with that area & at 7:30 a.m. I don't want to have to look for it.

Thanks alot!

I really like Cape May and we've never had a wait to be seated. The food is fresh and the character interaction is always very good. Ohana always seems to be running behind in my experience.

I don't know how much it is for a taxi to Beach Club since we've always driven.

The location of Cape May is through the lobby and to the right in the back.

I would vote for Cape May.:thumbsup2 The food is delicious, the character interaction is wonderful and the overall atmoshpere is very relaxing and beautiful. It is our favorite character breakfast. :goodvibes
