Which one 50's or Sci Fi

For a couple in their late 20's with no kids, what does everyone suggest? We have our ADR at 50's but I think Sci Fi sounds fun.

My wife and I just went to 50's and we both loved it. The atmosphere is really cool, the waitresses are a lot of fun and the food was delicious. We only went here by happenstance as we didn't have a reservation and they got us in.

We were pleasantly surprised and this is now our restaurant of choice for Hollywood Studios.

Another vote for Sci Fi. We love it and it's one restaurant that our kids asked to govtoveach time we go to Disney.

I am surprised by all of these votes for Sci-fi.
Just a couple of years ago everyone's reviews on here of Sci-Fi were bad. So we have never visited it.
Has the food gotten better than what everyone used to think? Or just new and different opinions?

Both are cute but we like Sci Fi better.

50's can be hit or miss- one time we had an awesome server but several times we had ones that didn't do any of the antics. The decor is neat though.

But Sci Fi is so cool- really something you'd only see at WDW

I've always loved SciFi. I know that scifi has revamped their menu a few months back. Maybe thats why its getting better reviews? its worth a shot at least once.

If it were not for the kids I would have said 50's PT over Sci-Fi. I personally think the menu is much better than what Sci-Fi offers. But once you factor in such young kids, I think the menu is safe for them and the atmosphere I think they will enjoy more than 50's.

I've always loved SciFi. I know that scifi has revamped their menu a few months back. Maybe thats why its getting better reviews? its worth a shot at least once.

Have eaten in both & would say that Sci-Fi would be my preferred choice. The detail there is really good; the antics at the 50's Diner made some of the shy people in my group uncomfortable. I think the food at Sci-Fi was better also, a shame they changed out the Butcher steak for a different cut when they combined the menus.

50's Prime Time!

not to say that Sci-Fi isn't a cool place to eat, but 50's (when you get a good waiter or waitress) is a total experience. As to the age of the kids....she waitress's and waiters know how to embarass them equallly as well as they did my wife a few times. She has been caught misbehaving more times than I can remember and I have pics to prove it.

The food at 50's is also very good and more diverse than Sci -Fi if food is a deciding factor

I always go to WDW as part of a pretty large group, and everyone in it, including myself, prefers Sci-Fi to 50's PTC. I think that both the food and atmosphere are better there.

When we take trips and it's just the two of us? 50s PTC all the way! The food is better and a little more "off the beaten path" of theme park food.

But when we've taken trips with family or friends with kids (especially little boys), we will choose Sci-Fi for the ambiance.

Neither place is bad, so you can't go wrong. I just happen to prefer 50s (save room for dessert, they're amazing there!)
