We are considering a trip in Early December 08. Which resort would you choose with a 4 year old and possibly a young infant

Well let me see if I can be of some assistance.

First of all, since you're traveling with a 4 yr old and an infant, I'd say that a MK Resort will be better suited for you.

Second, since it's Christmas time, I'd say choose the Wilderness Lodge. Yeap, that'd be my pick :thumbsup2 . If it was any other time of year, I'd say choose the Poly for Monorail access, which means easy traveling for your young children. But since it's Christmas time, I don't think the monorail can beat the beauty of the Wilderness Lodge during this time of year.

Finally, if you don't want a deluxe resort, I'd say pick Port Orleans:French Quarter for your moderate, or Pop Century for your Value.

Hope this gives you a good starting point :) .

Another vote for WL, its a great resort. Plus, at those ages you won't feel really cramped in the room (WL and AKL are smaller than the other Disney Deluxes). It you want monorail, at that time of year I'd say Contemporary for the ease of walking to the MK, although we personally like the GFs theming more.

I've only stayed at 3 Disney resorts, but after just returning from our third trip I would now say the Beach Club! Location was great. Epcot was a 5 minute walk away, MGM a short boat ride, and Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom really weren't far at all on the bus! The pool area there is incredible and your 4 year old will love it. It was decorated beautifully and my ds loved the gingerbread carousel. There is a character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe in the resort if your 4 year old likes the characters. Staff was wonderful!
