Both Disney and Universal. I'm thinking like every hour at least.

The Disney Springs hotels have service every half hour. http://disneyspringshotels.com/?utm...Xkf_M4I6l27DhDvs_diOmbi1N9E_Zc6e3JRoCUz3w_wcB

At Universal, Cabana Bay is an affordable option, but its onsite. There are some hotels nearby that people walk from.

One thing to consider these days is using Uber, which is far less than a taxi and some of the pay shuttles run by resorts. Many people are reporting using it in the Wyndham Bonnet Creek thread.

I agree with the other posters. The official Disney Springs hotels have best transportation to anything Disney than anyone else. Every half hour it loops all the hotels (one bus for all of them). Its for B Resort, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Buena Vista Suites , Wyndham Garden and Double Tree.

http://disneyspringshotels.com/ links to all of them and if you look on disboards their is a person that works for HI that links discount codes for the Holiday Inn.

All other hotels with transportation have been known to be spotty and not on schedule and normally costs extra. I would pick which set of parks mean more and stay at the hotels that service them and then uber to the other park. So if you will be doing more Disney than stay on property or a DS Hotel. Then uber to Universal or vice verse. But there is no resort I know of that does well at getting you to both every hour.

I have never even considered staying off site and not renting a car. I am not sure you will find anywhere that has good transportation to both Disney and Universal. If you want good transportation to both and don't want to rent a car I would stay at one of the Disney Springs Hotels with a good shuttle to the Disney parks and just Uber to Universal for the days you go there.

Which Disney springs hotel is the best?

Be aware that many of the Disney Springs Resorts charge resort fees that may negate any savings that you were hoping for by staying off site.

I have stayed and Buena Vista Palace ages ago, Holiday Inn just this year, Hilton couple years back, Wyndham about 3 years ago. Hilton was getting tired then and I hear its worse now, Holiday Inn did not have a parking or resort fee. Rooms were nice and clean as they just reopened it a few years ago. And we got free breakfast. Wyndham had a parking and resort fee that added up quickly! Buena Vista Palace has a resort fee but no parking fee. Look at EVERYTHING. As honestly if you just want a room to lay your head, then all of are nice hotels. But some have resort fees and parking that can easily add 40 or more dollars a night.

Here now at the Hilton. We've been very happy so far. Room is fine. It could use some minor updates, but it's larger and nicer than any value resort rooms we've stayed in on property. It is true about the resort and parking fee. However, we got a good rate on priceline, so those add ons STILL make it less than a value resort (there are 5 of us in our party and Hilton had no issue or additional fee for our 3 year old who still uses a pack n play while traveling, where as at a Disney property we would have to have a larger, thus more expensive room).

The shuttles run every 30 minutes on the hour and half hour and visit 3 other hotels that are right next door. Took about 30 minutes to get to MK yesterday. Going back from MK mid-day was longer because it also had a stop at AK. But, coming back from the park last night after Wishes was about 30 minutes as well once the bus got loaded.

Where can I find these codes on disboards? Thanks!

Yeah it looks like she removed her link. Maybe google this IHG friends and family discount. Maybe someone else has posted something else out there.

It was titled the Friends and Family discount for Holiday Inn Orange Lake. I actually tried it a few months back and it worked then, but I actually booked a better rate just thru the IHG website without it. As they had rates that included free parking and no resort fee and free breakfast for what the rate was without all the extras. There is no resort fees here, but it can have parking. They have a good breakfast buffet too BTW.
