I can't decide between these 4....please help.

Artist Point
California Grill
Jiko
Flying Fish

I have been to all of them accept for FF. We are going next month. The rest are good but I would return to Calif Grill first before I would return to the other ones.

We have not been to any of these, but will be trying Jiko, AP and FF this Sept. Our favorite at this time is Narcoosee's, but maybe that will change after vacation. DH and I looked at the CG menu and decided against that signature this trip.

what your likes/dislikes or purposes for the dinner are. Cali Grille and Jiko have more adventurous/refined food, not necessarily better though. Both can be a bit loud. AP, to me at least, is quieter and is a more romantic location. The food and service are top notch. The decor is inspired by some of the best lodges in the US. Flying Fish is good especially if you're looking for a wider range of seafood options. It's very good but would be the last of the three if I was choosing one of these for the first time.

We havent been to any of them but we are trying Cali Grill and Jiko in Oct because we are staying at the AKL and Jiko is right there (on my b-day) and Cali Grill because of the view. I have read awesome reviews on these 2 places and the menus look awesome!

Cali GrilL. Good food ,great view and a nice atmosphere. In my opinion you can't go wrong with this resturant!

I've eaten at all 4 and honestly, you would probably enjoy all of them. My top choice of these is FF and the reason is that I love fish, I love the variety offered. Many of the signatures have a lot of beef choices and only one fish entree. I love the sushi at CG but the place is very noisy.

My least favorite of the 4 is Artist Point. I hated the decor there, it did not feel upscale or special at all.

Jiko is hands down my favorite. We eat there every time we go to WDW. if I had to rate them in order:

1. Jiko
2. California Grill
3. Artist Point
4. Flying Fish

I don't know if I am a noise curse but we've had a noisy atmosphere at all 4 of these restaurants. And I'm talking LOUD at all 4 places! I think it just depends on what time day you are there and how crowded the restaurant is. Some people are not fans of Jiko because it has more exotic (for lack of a better term) food. I personally enjoy adventurous eating. Plus they have my favorite wine which I have such a hard time getting when I'm not on Disney property.

CG is by far our favorite and one of our musts on each trip. Jiko and AP are also excellent and tied for us for 2nd. Flying Fish has wonderful food too, but it would be our last choice of all that were given. Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with any of these places. :goodvibes

I love hearing all your opinions on these places. We are doing the deluxe dining plan next trip and want to do 2 or 3 Signature restaurants but are having a hard time figuring out which to choose.

Since we have only been to California Grill & Yachtsman before I wasn't sure about the rest of them. We definitely know we are going to Nacroossee's (thats why I didn't put it on the list) but wanted some opinions on the others before I commit.

We really enjoyed CG and would like to go again, so we will probably pick it again and we thought Yachtsman was pretty good, but didn't want to go back there for this trip. So its between those listed above.

California Grill has really good food and the view of the MK is a highlight. Definetly one of my favs!

It depends on your tastes. I've never done AP, but the menu doesn't appeal to me. Same with Jiko; I like Boma too much. It's right next door.

CG was kind of overrated, IMO. The food was good, but our server was snotty. Not very overtly snotty, but a more subtle kind of rudeness. I've never had that anywhere else at WDW. In the past we had great sushi there...and we were able to sit at the bar. No more.

I really enjoyed Flying Fish. The first time I ate there was the first time I went to the BWK. It was magical! We were walkups so we had to wait for our tbale. While we waited we saw a great street show, and when it was nearly over, our buzzer went off. The other two times were also excellent. Not quite as good as the first, but still very good. (they took away the choclate lava cake... :sad1: )

CG hands down! Yummo! And the best servers and bartenders ever! Everyone was super nice and the food was incredible!:worship:

My hubby and I went last Sept. and we agreed it would mostly be a "food" trip......best food in the World!
