We're going to WDW late March/early April next year, and we need to rent a car.
I currently am holding two different rental reservations, and I'm trying to determine which is the better value:

Through National we have a "full size crossover" (Dodge Journey or similar)for the rate of $199/week
(Total for entire rental will be approxmately $261 with taxes, etc.)

Through Dollar we have midsize (Hyundai Sonata or similar) for the rate of $116.76/week. (Total rental cost will be approximately $198.)

There are three of us travelling (two adults, one child), so the midsize should be big enough, and obviously costs less, but I'm wondering if the full-size crossover is more bang for the buck, as it were.

Thoughts?

id say the crossover would be more "bang for the gas". id take the lower priced on and spend the difference at disney

Yeah, I'd go cheaper too. For us the carbon off-set has an impact so we rent the smallest car we can whenever we travel now. I'd spend the difference at the parks or for a cab back to the hotel if I wanted to drink more wine with dinner. And you may still get a free upgrade depending on the agency and volume of rentals.
