:worship:Tusker House is the best IMHO, and yes i have been to all 4.

Cape May was cute and convenient when we stay at BCV. Chef Mickey's i only go to because DD (5) loves it but its not for the food

CP Is ok but non of us are really big fans of Pooh and the gang Sorry.

TH is awsome. Jungle Juice, great bacon and Fresh DONUTS. OMG :worship:

Its a must on every trip

I voted Tusker House as that is the only one we did but had you put 1900 PF I would have voted that one too:goodvibes

Crystal Palace! The food is really delicious. Characters are so much fun. And you can't bea being in the MK before rope drop!:thumbsup2

I know you didn't include it in the choices but I would choose 1900 Park Fare for breakfast! We have had nothing but positive experiences there. Of the ones that you mentioned I would choose Cape May or Crystal Palace.

Wow, I must say I'm very surprised to see so many votes going for Tusker House. We have Crystal Palace booked which I'm anxious to try. I think we'll look into Tusker House if we for sure decide to go with two breakfasts.

with Lilo and Stich on your list... a MUST for us....

Due to declining service, food, character interaction, Chef Mickey's is off of our list.

Have eaten lunch and dinner at Crystal Palace and Tusker = and can only imagine that breakfast would be awesome - but prefer to spend the free dining credits on the more expensive, afternoon meals.

OHANA for breakfast, however, is worth it for us.

Hope you will consider it!

We like Cape May best. There's a good buffet selection, great character interaction, and best of all it's not as manic as the others, so you don't leave with indigestion.

I would choose Crystal Palace. We really liked the food there. The characters took awhile to get to the table but we didn't feel rushed at all once they were there. Our sever there was really excellent.

Tusker house was our least favorite - we didn't enjoy the food at all (and we are relatively adventurous) and we actually did not like the character interaction... we felt a bit rushed and the place felt pretty cramped.. in fact we didn't get a family pic here because trying to all fit was so awkward. :confused3 The characters inateracting among themselves - they kind of put on a cute show and Donald was making grand romantic gestures towards Daisy. We wouldn't return here though.

Can't speak for Cape May. It's on my ADR list for our upcoming trip, so I hope it's good!

Crystal palace will always be #1 in my heart...Pooh was DS's first favorite Disney character....the last time we went, we got a "private" meet with Pooh since he had not made it to our table (he accidentally skipped us). The look on DS's face was priceless...I was one of those silly mommas getting teary eyed when the handler arranged it for us.

We've also done Tusker house, and that was good too. This trip, we're finally making it to Cape May....

We have eaten at them all and often when the kids were younger.
crystal palace hands down. Healthy and one of the few places with a lot of fruit for the kids. We only ate b. fast there. many many times
Cape may just takes to long to get there.
Chef Mickeys is just a shadow of its former self. used to have Donald, daisy, minnie mickey pluto goofy chip and dale. That is why we went. It is now the fab 5 only. Food meh.
Tusker house not that impressed weird layout. Not memorable.
If it takes too long to get to ADR place you need to ask is the food worth the extra time. Most of the time recently it is nothing special. This coming from someone who cant cook and is fine with frozen pizza.
Seems to me (see if you agree) that since the advent of the Dining plan all the food has changed. There seems to be less offerings. Many of the places selling the same thing just slightly tweaked. Less of the unusual. We have the food plan for our trip but only because it is free.

One that was not on your list lilo and stitch b.fast at Ohana. DD12 still wants to go there. Mickey is there too and pluto. Not many people. No rush. Plently of food. They bring to you not a buffet but only a few items on plate. Eggs bacon waffles ect. 1900 park fare is also fairly good IMHO. I liked seeing the mice if they are even still there. btw crystal palace is pooh. No mickey if that is who you are looking for.

We have tried all of these at one time or another, some of them multiple times (Chef Mickeys and Crystal Palace). The only one we didn't like at all was Cape May -- the buffet was sparse and although we were there for quite a while, some items never seemed to get replaced (no bagels, rolls, etc, bacon, and many other items). The restaurant seemed rather dingy, too. Character interaction was decent, but I won't eat there again.

The food is better at CP and Tusker House, and as others have said, you can get into the parks early.

CM always seems so chaotic. The interaction was really good one time and hurried the next. Food was typical buffet stuff, nothing particularly exciting.

I voted for the Crystal Palace. We like starting off the day early at MK. While Chef Mickey's does have the fab 5, we prefer the breakfast buffet at Crystal Palace over Chef Mickey's. I have always been impressed with the character interaction at Crystal Palace - it feels relaxed and not rushed and the characters seem to spend a perfect amount of time at each table. Before we had kids, I remember that the characters always came over to our childless table, even taking time to pose with each of us separately for pictures without even asking!

For us it's Crystal Palace for two reasons:

a) Early entry to MK and pictures of the castle with hardly anyone around

and

b) Puffed french toast - nom, nom

Of the four listed, my number one choice would be Tusker House. We liked the food, the setting and the characters. It's a nice ADR to do pre-opening since the Kilmanjaro Safari is very close and you can usually run and get fastpasses to use right after breakfast.

We also liked Cape May - it's a nice setting (light and bright and nautical) and the characters have their cute swimming clothes on. The buffet was okay.

Crystal Palace - we were pretty neutral on this one. Okay food, okay character interaction.

Chef Mickey's - NO WAY

EDITED: Just asked DD (she's 11) what her favorite character breakfast was ...... and she said "That place with Winnie the Pooh." I asked her why - she said she LOVED the french toast (I think it's the stuffed french toast) and really liked Winnie the Pooh and the other characters! So, who knew? I was surprised!

Crystal Palace - I love the breakfast pizza, frittata and breakfast with my boy Tigger!

Cape May gets my vote, but all of us love breakfast with Lilo and Stitch at the Poly the best!

I voted for CP--the food's always good, the character interaction fun, and I really like the bright airiness of the restaurant.

I've also done Chef Mickey's and, while not bad, CP beats it in every category, especially price (Chef Mickey's is $35, CP is $27, TH is $25, and Cape May is $29).

I've been to TH for lunch (no characters) and the food and service were good! The atmosphere of the restaurant could be improved a little, it was pretty loud (most character meals are) and kinda dark, especially when compared with CP.

That being said, if you guys are on the DDP, doing a character dinner (like CP or Chef Mickey's at dinner) is a better use of your credits. :thumbsup2

I voted for Crystal Palace because we have never missed eating breakfast there at least once during all of our trips. Tusker House would be a very very very close second.

Crystal Palace edges it out, just because we love the bright, airy atmosphere, being at MK before park opening (we try to get an ADR for as close to 8 am as possible), and the food has always been very good. Our DSs love Pooh and the gang.

Tusker House is also a favorite, with Donald and Daisy being a highlight. The juice at Tusker House is worth going for, all by itself! The food is great and the African-inspired dishes give you a little change from the usual breakfast fare. The character interaction has always been great there too.
...

This is exactly what I was going to answer!:thumbsup2 You can't beat a nearly empty Main Street with an early ADR.:) CP is on our short list of must-do's every trip.

CM was fun with not-so-great food, and the characters seemed more rushed the last few times we were there.

We have never been to Cape May, so can't comment on that.

Hope this helps.:goodvibes
