which of the ned's items should make good trades?

There really isn't anything out today that I personally need to have but I could definitely stock up on some trade items. So as someone with limited funds, what would be the most important items for me to get while they are out/on sale today? I already got the khaki explorer suit since that seems popular but I'm not sure what else to really buy today since funds are limited.

Depends on what is retired tomorrow. Clothing items are usually good things to get extras of. Other than that, not much is going to be high demand...especially if it's not retired tomorrow.

He said he was bringing out special items just for this day, so I think everything
today will be gone tomorrow.

Definitely get lot of Khaki Explorer Costumes, and maybe the flip hat
and baseball cap. Like Geggy said, clothing items.

Thanks a lot guys. That's what I was thinking too, the clothing items. I also bought the two hotel pins. I am under the assumption as well that these items won't be on sale tomorrow.

I am not sure If you looked around the park today, but it will be a while before the Khaki Explorer is worth what you even double it's current cost. It is nice and all but so many people are wearing them I can't tell one person apart from another.

Point is maybe buy a few but remember almost everyone wearing them bought a few. Green cap comes and goes and was never worth what people were offering. I am otherwise unimpresses by the furniture and pin offerings today. Surely that makes some happy, but it basicly was way overbilled in true president's day sale fashion. As I said elsewhere, I went to the sale did't find much and took my credit down the street.

If you never bought water ride stuff, thats a good value and if you don't have a stoock of any of the other items you might use in the future, I would pick up a few to have so they don't require over priced trades. as mentioned expect anything in president's day sale tab to be gone tomorrow (only 8 items) this includes the possiblity the quest kiosk will not be back in the space shop for a while.

If you want to mix up the Khaki a bit they still sell three other beige - brown Camouflage shorts. Keep in mind Flips magicly disappeared, same could happen with really any item. Always a guessing game to determine what will stay or go.

Oh, believe me, I know these items won't be worth a hill of beans tomorrow. I'm just looking at collecting some things I never got the first time around that I can sit on for awhile. I mean, if they truly are gone after today I think that will garner some kind of rarity in the future, assuming that they don't re release them again six months from now, lol.

Kiosk would be great but unfortunately a bit out of my budget these days.

Trade value - Clothing ussually does perform better, but I have never yet seen anyone in VMK wear more then one outfit at once (seen a few without any ) but when it comes time to building a room, I have seen rooms with hundreds of the same item. If you buy just a few and need them later it will cost if they are retired. I have seen people trade away some good stuff to get what they want to build with. Makes more sense to buy it now if you like it and might ever need it. It happened to me a few times in 3 years, I now have almost 100 rooms of stuff to avoid this.

Always try to buy an extra outfit for trading purposes if you can. As for anything else you buy, buy it because you like it and you can afford it. In the end, if you play long enough, you should be able to buy whatever you want.
