My family and I will be visiting from 10/22 thru 10/26 and I am trying to figure out which Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party would be better (i.e. less crowded); the one on Thr, 10/23 or Fri, 10/24. We are DVC members and annual pass holders, so the big draw for us would be the actual MNSSHP specific events and meeting the characters (we have never been to a MNSSHP before, but we have been to MK many times).

Touringplans has a blog about predicting which dates are the least crowded and which are the busiest and they have my dates above as being the 25th and 23rd out of the 26 total dates (the higher the number the busier, so they are predicting 10/23 as being the second most busiest out of all the MNSSHP dates).

Any thoughts on which of those two nights would be better?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Absolutely Thursday. Locals go on Fridays, and that would be the last Friday prior to actual Halloween. Many of the local schools are out both of those dates, so they both could be crowded. A crowded party is still much better than a normal MK crowd, though.

I agree. Neither date is great since it's so close to Halloween, but you'll have many more local people interested in Friday.

FYI, we attended on Thursday, Oct 10th last year and it sold out.

How bad it it on the 31st?

It will be a sell out, but no more tickets are sold for that date than any other party. They just cost more. Sold out parties will feel slightly crowded, but ride lines will still be on the very low side.

More parties sold out last year than ever before. I encourage everyone to get their tickets in advance so you don't miss out.
