Which non-Disney park for a 6-year-old?

Hi everyone. I'm new to the boards, so please forgive if this isn't the right forum for this question.

We'll be heading to WDW in late Sept./early Oct. and want to spend one day in either Universal/IOA, Kennedy Space Center, or SeaWorld. I'm still doing research. It's not clear to me which option might be best for our DS, who will be 6 by the time we get there.

He's 44 inches tall now and fairly adventurous. He likes small-to-moderate coasters (loves BTMRR, but a little scared of Space Mountain) and simulators like Star Tours. Is he too little for Universal/IOA? Will he be bored at Kennedy? He loves animals, so SeaWorld may be our default option.

If he loves animals, then Seaworld might be your best bet. I'd only take him to the spacecenter if he's into that kind of thing and if you do come to Universal, I'd concentrate on Islands of Adventure.

It's a hard choice, all options have a lot to offer!

I dont think IOA would be the best idea. Most of the rides there would either be to much for him or he may not be tall enough.

Universal has quite a bit of kid rides and some kid play area's. (LOVED that area with the ball cannons)

I thinking he would enjoy Sea World better because of the shows and they have a whole section for kids.

Thanks for helping me narrow it down. Looks like it will be between Universal Studios Florida and SeaWorld.

As much as I love US/IOA, here's another vote for SeaWorld! My kids had a great time there at that age.
