Which night for MNSSHP?

Trip is end of Sept/first of Oct. 6 adults plus kids 3,3,5. We aren't interested in seeing characters this trip, mostly fireworks, parade, and dance party. We are rope drop/afternoon nap types. I don't usually buy party tickets until we are there, but am trying to plan our ADRs.

Option 1-Day 5 of trip, a Sunday. We are planning rope drop at MK that morning. The next day we have Epcot FP+ in the morning.

Option 2-Day 10/last full day of trip, a Friday. We were planning Epcot that morning. Our flight is at noon the next day.

I'm tempted to go the last night as a final farewell and because we won't need to be up early the next day. But, if the weather is bad, we won't have any other option to attend.

If it were me, I would personally choose the last day and go out with a bang. I think it is also nice that you will have been at Epcot that morning and you won't have an early park day the following day. I have never let the weather determine which party night I go.

I too would do the last night. No early morning rising the next day as it will be early morning by the time your head hits the pillow to begin with I never let " maybe " weather worries enter into my planning either.
