Which new restaurant idea would you like to see @ WDW?

Tortuga looking (using visual styling transformed from san angels inn) pirate place with Caribbean style food sounds nice.. Or have a nice jamaican
food place.. jerk chicken and ox tail yummy

Now there's an interesting idea. Maybe they could use the old Millenium pavilion for cuisines otherwise unrepresented in WDW.

Heck! I'd be happy to just have better ethnic food at Epcot!

Frankly, I'd be happy to go back to the days when the restaurants AND their food was themed. Seems to me that there are gobs of places at WDW to get "generic american-ized food".

But as far as ethnic food I'd like to see (and not american-ized either) --
thai
korean
basic southeastern united states (ha ha ho ho he he)
greek
caribbean

hmmmm
getting hungry

Ratatouille in France @ Epcot where you eat with the characters from the movie.

Pirates of the Carribean in Adventureland and sit in little tables like pirate ships and have a little show while eating and get to meet and greet Jack Sparrow.
I love these two ideas, especially since France has two restaurants, they could easily make one a character meal. And who wouldn't want to eat with Jack? Or Will?

I definitely think that a POTC theme would be the most logical and needed new themed restaurant. There needs to be a more boy themed dining experience.
Boys? What are you talking about? All the ladies will be eating there to see Jack, LOL. ;)

I would really like them to have a villians meal again, especially since the villians are so hard to find in the parks.

POTC would be cool... Anything that could be geared towards older kids.. boys... like 7 and up...

I was glad that EPCOT had the princess meal in Norway and think that they need to add more cute things there eating wise. Epcot doesn't need to be ALL grown up/teenage/adult oriented. Everyone of all ages enjoy EPCOT. I thorougly enjoyed the Princess Meal in Norway with my dd for lunch. I thought it was most appropriate.

While I liked the CARS movie, playing it over and over for each meal wouldn't make for a unique experience each time and with the Sci-Fi already a theme with cars, wouldn't be that exciting and I can't imagine teenagers sitting and watching that movie and being enthralled:rolleyes1 sitting in Lightning McQueen.

Teenagers would enjoy the Cars theme as much as the Ratatouille theme. In other words, most of them wouldn't enjoy either. ;) As a parent of a teen, I'd much rather see them make Sci-fi a character meal. It's already themed.

Epcot is far from all grown up. There's plenty of things for younger kids to do. Personally, I don't see anything wrong with having one small area in WDW that teens & adults enjoy. They're already forced to deal with all the character meals & attractions geared toward younger kids. Why must every area be that way? That's like me saying everything should be changed to teenager's preference, because that's what would work best for our family. My DS & DH already prefer Universal. If they start changing WS, I'll never get them to WDW. Epcot is the only park they like. I often wonder if the people that push all characters all the time realize their toddlers will soon be teens.

Stay away from the world showcase in Epcot with kiddie ideas. We adults need places to eat without characters!!!!!!!!

I like a character meal too but dont ruin the world showcase with it gahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

I too would love more authentic restaurants (hint new pavilion at Epcot lol!)...Greek being one of the tops -plus it could be themed so nicely!

Spain, India. Thai etc are all good chioces as well.

gosh, these are all good ideas!, we should all sent these ideas to disney!!!

POTC theme resturant would be amazing, maybe they shoudl put it in Pleasure Island after they shut all the clubs down.

I have always thought a dinner cruise on the lagoon with southern style food would be fun.

I'd like to see a real diner, serving real diner food at WDW. :cloud9: (I've never been to Beaches & Cream so I don't know how much of a "diner" that place is).

I'd also like Indian food (my favorite!).

And I always thought that a restaurant like Fresh Choice would be great at WDW. (Fresh Choice is a salad bar/soup bar/fresh bread place)

I would like the American pavilion at Epcot (or maybe The Land pavilion) feature a signature restaurant that uses all organic food. The food at the American pavilion right now is awful.

I prefer no characters, so I am not placing definite votes for any.

I like the pirate idea, but without walkaround characters. And the ship tables are a bit too cute. I liked the one at Disneyland Paris, although they did have tables way too close together.

I would LOVE a brick oven pizza joint, but without characters.

The Pirate meal would be neat and Capt Jack and co would be a neat addition but don't think so small ..

I'd totally gut the following:

As much as I love Tom Sawyer Island how many kids even know about it / read the book. Redo that whole Island as a Pirate theme, the fort would be the restaurant and serve .. what else Pirate's BarBQ! .. Possible spit roast a pig or something (for show) and serve that .. some rum type drink for the adults and tropical punch for the kids.

Now to make it even cooler .. revamp the liberty boat as the Black Pearl so it goes around the "Pirate Island" .. it could even stop to drop off diners ..

Since it will likely be HUGE lines - leave all the play area cave, water barrel bridge etc for kids (and big kids) to relax and get ready for their pirate meal. Heck they could even reopen Aunt Polly's as a Pirate Snack shack and serve drinks and small stuff.
