Love the idea of Australia and Greece!
I'd love to see Ireland too though. I have irish heritage so maybe that's why. And I think it would be super cute to maybe be able to tie in the legend of leprechauns or something. Norway did a great job incorporating the legend/folklore of the viking and trolls.

How about the Republic of Ireland? Despite what some misguided people out there might think (including my family, sigh), it's not part of the UK. I would love that! Just think, leprechauns and rainbows.....sorry DH....

2.Egypt...I think a pyramid would be cool to visit inside with a water ride inside to see the tombs of the disney pharroh

So, when I think of World Showcase, I think of food! mmmmmm, so I would definitely pick Australia (they have some great choices down under...except for that damn vegemite)
or anywhere in South America. Hello! An entire continent waiting for some time! (and, no, Mexico does not count, lol) mmmm, Brazilian food.

Why not something from Central Asia?? I know none (except the 2 in the south) of the "stans" are very well known, (hey, what better reason to put one in than for educating folks about that area?) but I can envision a Mongolian, or Kyrgyz or Kazakh yurt, a traditional tea house, and the mountains- Well, they are just amazing!! They are the MOST hospitible people on earth, and I can really envision a ride that highlights the diversity of landscapes all the stans have. You know... Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva.... beautiful!!

I also thought I read somewhere about the idea to build an "Australia" in the middle of the lagoon. Kind of a neat idea (but what would happen to Illuminations?)

Egypt and Greece intrigue me also. However, I love the idea of the tropics - something in the caribbean or polynesian islands perhaps -- or does that get a redlight b/c of the hotels?

The concept of Australia in the lagoon would be interesting but hard to do. Mulan and Mushu can be found in China (as it takes place there!)
Eygpt or Greece would be pretty awesome
So would the islands thing, but with the Poly and CB, I'm not sure they'd go for it (though I'D love it!)

yeah! my vote goes for Ireland. it saddens me how -little- Ireland stuff there is, even in the UK segment
