Which Must-Do Rides to do First??

Hello! I'm taking a trip to WDW during Columbus Day weekend this year, and I was curious as to which rides you suggest to ride first after rope drop for each park? I would love to be able to beat the crowds. Any input or strategies would be greatly appreciated Thank you!!!

Put the app on your phone that shows what ride wait times are. This way you can start checking it out now and that'll give you a good idea how long the waits become. This is what has worked for us on our last trip:
AK-we couldn't get there at RD, so I had a fp+ for Dinosaur, Kali and Safari. DS rode single rider for Expedition.
DHS-At RD, we went straight to RRC. We then had fp+ for TOT, TSMM and Star Tours. We then got a 4th for Great Movie Ride.
EPC- At RD, we went straight to Soarin'. We then had a fp+for Test Track.
MK Day 1- At RD, we went straight to Peter Pan then had fp+ for Pirates, Splash 7 Dwarves.
MK Day 2- had fp+ for Space, 7 Dwarves and Thunder.

From the perspective of someone who has two boys and does not do the Princess thing, here's what I'd do on Day 1 at each park. Then for any additional days at each, mix things up as you see fit.

MK Rope Drop: Splash (2x), BTMRR (2x); Pirates; Haunted Mansion (dep on the wait time)
MK Fast Pass: Mine Train; Peter Pan; Space Mtn
(To me it's too much of a rat race fighting the hoards getting to Mine Train at rope drop)

Epcot Rope Drop: Soarin'; The Land
Epcot FastPass: TestTrack; MissionSpace; Spaceship Earth

DHS Rope Drop: Toy Story
DHS FastPass: Rockin' RR; Star Tours; ToT

Animal Kingdom Rope Drop: Show up around 9 hit Dinoland (Dinosaur, Triceratop Spin)
Animal Kingdom FastPass: Everest; Kali; Safari

Is Mine Train a new ride? We're not talking about Big Thunder or the slightly creepy, but pretty tame Snow White ride that was similar to the Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan concept right?

Do the parks have wifi now? And how reliable is it? Roaming charges are steep, and I don't even have the option with my phone.

Mine train is relatively new, I will try to post our video...........

I found WiFi to be fairly reliable. There was one park I found it not as great at the others but now I can't remember which one (maybe Epcot?). I know MK was almost perfect anytime we needed it. I had saved up all of my 2GB for the month for our trip and when I got back I had not even used 1GB (and most of that was my daughter using it in the car while we were driving around).
