Which MP3 player?

Hi, We bought our DS a Sansa/Scandisk about 8 months ago. LOVE IT so far. At that time we used the URGE (download progam) that came with it. I remember only paying .99 to download each song. Now, I have found that URGE has merged with Rhapsody and you have to join their "club". It costs
$9.95 a month. Since our DS is only 6 yrs old, I really don't forsee us downloading a ton of songs. What we have on his MPS player now is mostly copys of CDs and the downloads we did were just a handful of High School Musical songs. Sooo, my question is,, should I join Rhapsody or is there another place that will work with my Sansa where I can just buy the songs that I want?

My first iPod was a mini-- 3years ago-- and it still works great. I have since upgraded because I wanted more gb. For the 3 of us we have the mini, a nano, and 3 iPod Videos. DH never saw the appeal of them until I bought him the nano. It only took 2 months before he said he needing something with more gb. ;)

I got DD's iPod video on clearance at Apple and I got a refurb.

I started out with the iPod shuffle, then dh bought me a Nano, and i have to say I love these things. We have an iTunes account and it's just so easy to either download music or put CD's on the iPod. The nano is pricy, but in this case, I got what I paid for and I'm very happy with it.

I go to Amazon.com- they have tons of music downloads for .89 to .99 each, and album downloads for $8 to $10. Very easy to download, and easy to sync to my Sansa or DH's Zune.

I have a Creative Zen and it froze up once in two and a half years (and was fixed easily and nothing was lost).

I don't own one and have no understanding of the features, but I can tell you from a 14-year-old's perspective. My DD and her friends have or had most of the brands mentioned here. DD got a 30gb Zune for Christmas and loves it. In fact, her 2 closest friends are now asking for a Zune.

So far, we haven't had any problems with it.

Well, my car does have one. I also have no understanding of that and remain amazed that DS23 was able to put about 30 CD's onto 1 CD for me. :rotfl:
