Which month to cruise, July or August?

We are thinking of cruising next summer. What do I need to know about cruising during the summer months? Is the heat unbearable? Is one month better than the other? Thanks in advance for any advice!

We just cruised in July and while it was hot, with the ocean breeze, it was not unbearable. Except in the straw market in Nassau, which is just a building open on each end and no air. It was unbearable, but not just from the heat!!

Anyhow, we live in Florida and there seems to be more tropical storms/hurricanes brewing in August than July so I think I would be a little bit leery of August.
