Which Moderates are Closest to Epcot??

I'm pretty sure that CBR is the closest to Epcot. We stayed there last summer and loved it. The transportation was great! I don't think we ever waited more than 10-15 minutes for a bus.

CBR and POR and FQ are the closest moderates. I can't speak to the busses because I never use them.

CBR is the closest moderate, it's the only one listed as being in the EPCOT area.

That said none of the moderates are very far from EPCOT or MGM but none are within walking distance. I wouldn't use location as a factor in booking.

I vote for the Dolphin as the closest "moderate" to Epcot , if you can get a good rate.

I disagree with leighe saying the transportation was great. . If you go in the summer be perpared to wait 20min just to get out of the hotel parking lot. Been there done that.

I agree with Swan/Dolphin as the best "moderate." There are many ways to get "moderate" rates with the Swan/Dolphin. If you are a teacher, nurse, or gov't worker--look into this!

Actually, I'd say that Coronado Springs is closer to Epcot than Port Orleans or Caribbean Beach. But not by much. POR/POFQ comes in 2nd, and CBR 3rd. (although as the crow flies, CBR is #1)

Regardless, the difference in time it takes to get there will be 60-90 seconds... not even noticeable.

We usually stay at the Swan.. but for our weekend in Oct there are **no** Swan/Dolphin discounts and the least expensive Disney Deluxe Epcot was in the $300's which I think is kinda of steep since we probably won't be using the pool as much as we would in the summer.

CBR is technically closest to Epcot. You can see some of the higher fireworks from Illuminations each night. But because it's near the back of the park, and because of the way the roads are laid out, it's still a bit of a trip getting there.

I wouldn't worry if the resort you pick is closest to your favorite park or not. WDW transportation is very easy and reliable, and nothing is too long of a trip.

I agree with Tyler. CSR is just down the street. It doesn't seem far from CSR to AK, Epcot or MGM.
