hi all
we are planning to stay in a moderate the next time we go to wdw it will be our wedding trip and are trying to decide between sunset point or the yatch club gazeebo :cheer2: i can't decide which hotel to go for and which one would be nearer to one of these wedding locations  which would you pick and why?
thanks everyone :sunny:

The only moderate I have stayed at is POFQ. I really loved this hotel- its small - everywhere is within 5mins walking distance, the rooms are lovely and it is very near to DTD!!

Port orleans riverside gets our Vote just for the peace and the lovely walks

we have visited the other mod resorts to look around but have booked PORS again next year

plus it is the only one that sleeps 5

hi
i must admit it port orleans did appeal to me when i was looking through the brochure :) it sounds lovely

I would also go for POFQ. Port Orleans is a lovelty resort, but for a Wedding and/or Honeymoon POFQ is a bit smaller that POR and a bit more romatic because of the size.

None of the mods are what you would call "near" to either of the wedding locations you mention Eve - all would be a bus / car journey away.

We stayed at CBR and really liked it - but to be honest I don't think you can go wrong with any of the Mods - maybe choose the one whose theme appeals most to you?

I have stayed at POFQ and POR and both have advantages. POFQ is compact. POR is a lot more romantic but I suspect it would be awful if it was very rainy. It never rained when I headed to the foodcourt for our morning coffee or when we went to or from the bus but it is a fair distance to walk (couple of hundred yards). It was a very pleasant walk for us but would not have been in heavy rain.

thanks for all your inputs :) i'm still at the planning stages and it's so hard deciding where to stay

I've stayed at both CBR and POFQ, both were lovely in their own way but I personally prefer FQ, it was much quieter, and had the boat down the river to DTD, very romantic walks in the evenig and there's the horse and carriage ride, perfect for a newly married couple.
