Which Moderate

Hi there!

I think all the moderates are awesome--we've stayed at every one. CSR is a great one for transportation (their buses seem to come every 2 minutes) but their food court (to me) is a little pricey (there's a mandatory gratuity charge included). I think CBR is wonderful for a three year old--they have sandy beaches, 6-7 different pools and a great food court. CBR also has the bikes and boats to rent--kids love that stuff Have a great trip!

I've only eaten at CSR, but the resort has that very large business conference feel to me. I have no desire to stay there. So, I'm surprised to see all the CSR love.

My whole family loved CBR. The grounds are so beautiful. The beaches provide a great play area for kids and the pool area was a lot of fun. We spent time in the hot tub almost every night.

Next we are staying at POR, so I can't comment on it yet, but I would try POFQ before I'd try CSR.

Another CSR lover I work at a Deluxe here and still much prefer the CSR. I even go over there once a week just to walk the grounds and enjoy the Pepper Market.

What about POR and seeing if you could get a room with a trundle bed for your DD to sleep on. It is the perfect height and size for a wee one. Also love the boat to DTD and you can use the pool at POFQ too.

Not sure if anyone mentioned the bed rails - these can be requested - just add it to your reservation requests and be sure to mention it at check-in if the CM does not say anything about the bedrails.

Oh! I would choose CBR, FQ or POR - CBR rooms are essentilaly the same size as WL - CBR 340 sq ft and WL std 344 sq ft. Double sinks with lots of room, privacy curtain, new pool will be finished by October and each village has a quiet pool. Not known for it;s food court, but it's okay. Loads of things to do around the resort.

If you love the WL theme, then maybe POR AB - although AB is a request, the rooms are very rustic and cozy. Be sure to check out the map and request a blg #. It's a huge resort.

Be sure to request a corner room at CBR or POR! CSR corner rooms can sometimes have less light due to the design of the building. A beautiful resort, but it felt too much like a convention hotel to us..and only one sink. Rm size is 315 sq ft,

POFQ, hands down.

It is a smaller and more intimate resort. Everything is a close walk to everything and the cast members there are wonderful. The bus service is the best and the grounds are beautiful.

I like POR, but it was not as nice as POFQ.

I did not care for CSR. I have no plans to stay at this one again. The CMs were unfriendly, the Pepper Market was not good, the Mousekeeping was mediocre (has nothing to do with towel animals ) and the bus service was not as good as POFQ.

We've stayed at CSR twice and we love it there. We've never had an issue with bus service, we like Pepper Market very much, and I think Panchito's has a terrific selection of souvenirs. Our son loved the pool last year, and there's a nice playground, also. It is spread out, but we've stayed in the Cabanas both times and thought the walk anywhere was reasonable.

My husband and I tried POFQ in January and it was nice too, but it didn't have that lush, resort feel to it. Others think it's compact and convenient, but I thought it felt too squished. Not enough open space. I love the spacious feeling of CSR, and the lake views are awesome!

Where ever you choose, you'll have a great time!

I've yet to stay at CSR, so I can't say anything about it.

But my favorite is POFQ!! It's small and quiet, so it's pretty charming. It's close to everything. It has the boat to DTD. Or you can take the boat or the trail to it's sister resort - POR. The CM's are wonderful as is housekeeping.

I don't know, it's sometimes tough to sell, but for us it just feels right. I can't explain why exactly, but I guess that's the Disney Magic! We just felt it when we were there.

We stayed at POR in Feb. We loved it. My son had a meeting for his job. They used CSR. He said it was very nice. I also liked the boatride to downtown from POR. It was very nice and relaxing.

I have stayed at CBR,LOVED it there and POR,did not love it at all. somebody on here made a website about CSR and it looks lovely..
