Which is your favorite and why? Which is better for older teens?

We've only stayed at CBR, and I'd love to go back there. It was beautiful, peaceful, had several pools (we weren't interested in the slides, don't know how it was), it just had a great atmosphere to it.

i would say caribbean beach resort, im 16 and stayed there a year ago and liked it a lot. the water mice you can rent are fun and the pool is fun too. the resort is somewhat spread out so your teen could walk around if he/she wanted to. but riverside and french quarter are good too, but i would say caribbean beach resort.

CSR!! Older kids will love the Dig Site. They can play volleyball, visit the arcade, ride the jaguar slide and the pool is awesome. Check out my CSR website below for pics, links and info.

I'm not in my teens anymore, but I am in my late 20's. I think the best mod for teems is PO Riverside. It is large enough to get away from the rest of your family if you feel the need, and it also has the boat to Downtown Disney.]

I agree that POR has the advantage of the boat if your teen is at a point where you would allow them to go to DTD on their own. I would feel totally comfortable allowing my teen free reign at POR. And he has been to DTD alone. I think PORFQ is not for teens. Smaller hotel, and I think appreciated by those who want a more quiet stay. (too quiet for us) The pool is geared to young children. My kids are not interested.

CSR is a great resort for teens. My 15 yr old actually just stayed there with a HS team and loved it - as a teen! He had also been when he was younger. We just went in May to AKL and he said he would have rather gone back to CSR. He loves the whole dig site area, big pool/slide, big hot tub, he LOVES Pepper Market. They have amenities as well. Bus was so easy for them to get to all the parks and DTD as well.

Both POR and CSR have great quiet pools. Both are larger hotels but well planned in a tight circular and navigating is easy.
