We go to WDW every January for the Marathon weekend and my husband and I both run. We have been bringing family members to watch the kids while we run and for a night out in celebration. So far, we have stayed at AOA, Wilderness Lodge and the cabins at Fort Wilderness. Next year, we're bringing my in-laws and for all of our sanity, I think having separate rooms would be a good idea so we all have our own space (as opposed to the cabins or AOA where you're all sharing common space.) It will be my father and mother-in-law, myself, my husband and our 2 kids (1 1/2 and 7.) I was thinking of maybe trying to get adjoining rooms at a moderate resort (I know they're not guaranteed, but it seems most of the times requests are honored.) Adjoining would be really useful so we don't have to drag the kids out of bed at 3am when we go to the races. Having never been to any of the moderates, any suggestions? Or other ideas we haven't thought of? TIA
