Hi, We have previously stayed at WL and dh and I both need ECVs. We had room for them in WL but wondered if there would be room for 2 ECV's in the moderate resorts? We would like to try a different resort this time. Thanks for your suggestions

If any do, it would be Caribbean Beach. The rooms in that resort are 340 sq ft while all the other moderates are 314 sq ft.

Pretty much all of them, I have done this at the Poly, at POR, in fact I arrive with two on Wednesday this week. At the Swan, and the BC. Now I know you said Moderate,
AS I say POR for sure I would be very surprised if all of the moderates were not the same in this respect.

I'm pretty sure Caribbean Beach would, as my friend's scooter fit well and I had room next to my bed (where the connecting door was) where another scooter would've fit (that's where I put my service dog's duffel bag-type suitcase, which I leave open to pick and choose from while on vacation). You might want to bring a power strip/extension cord, though, as there are very few power outlets in the room - and some are behind furniture (like the TV stand) so hard to get to.

A King room at Coronado Springs would also work.

I agree. All of the moderate resorts would accomodate two ECV's. CBR being the largest of the four would give you the most space but it's a very "spread-out" resort. Are there any other special needs/room requirements?---Kathy

No we don't need any other special needs, but POL and PORS both said they didn't have room for 2 ECV's in their room, just one. we plan to check those out when we go this time. The ecvs do take up a lot of space. Thanks

Is it just the two of you? If so pay for the King bedroom. There is plenty of room in a moderate (pretty much any of them) room with only one King bed in it for two scooters

I know the rooms at CBR are exactly the same size as those at WL, so if they fit comfortably at WL there should be no problem. Truthfully I didn't notice much difference in the size of rooms at POR or POFQ or CS vs. CBR. How many are in your party? You could always rearrange the room a bit. The trunk that's in POFQ/POR, for instance could be moved to allow space for one of the ECV's, with the other one nearer the door. You can also ask for the trunk to be removed- I know we've never used that trunk for storage or seating since there's plenty of room in the armoires/drawers and there's a table and chairs.---Kathy

It is just dh and me. Now that I think about it when I called POR they didn't have a king room available so I guess that is why they said 2 scooters wouldn't fit in there!! Didn't think about that at the time. I had thought also that it would be possible to move some of the furniture around and make room....where there is a will there is a way!! We plan to check out the other moderates while we are there this time. I enjoy touring the other resorts and it is easy going on the bus. We do have a king room at CBR.

A Coronado standard room worked for us. We were connected to an acessable room, but Kim's chair and my ECV both fit with no problems. Of course, as soon as I was in the room I parked the ECV over by the sink outside the bathroom and plugged it in. Plenty of room to get to the bathroom for me, and Kim got around OK..of course she went over to the other room to use the accessable bathroom. We parked her chair by the outside door to the room for charging, and it was also out of the way for me to walk around in the room.
