Which Moderate Is The Best?

I voted for CS. It's a beautiful resort, has a nice pool, & has (in my experience), excellent bus service.

I voted for CBR but I have only been to CBR and POR. I think they are both great but I like the island theming and my DD loves the waterslide at the pool. She was 2 1/2 when we went and the slide was not too fast or too boring. With the new pool I am thinking I will love it even more.

Since I posted this, the POFQ loyalists have come out of the woodwork and have voiced their opinions!

I knew something was fishy with these polls! Every time there is a poll on the moderate resorts, POFQ and CSR run neck & neck. I didn't know you could even see who votes, but that is very suspicious. CSR also has many votes from very new members with 0 or a couple of posts. I think there's some one-up-manship going on between the POFQ and CSR fans. There's no way the other 2 mods should be that far behind in votes. Thanks for pointing that out! I don't think we should put any faith in these polls if we're really trying to pick a resort. That stinks!

We love CBR! The resort is spread out. If that is an issue, then pay a few bucks more for the preferred buildings which are closer to the food court and main pool. We haven't done the bus thing for several years since we bring our own full size stroller, I hate lugging it onto the busses. CBR has bigger rooms (sq ft) then the other mods.
It's ok if other's don't want to stay here, just means more room at the foodcourt, pool, or bar.

PO looks nice, I think I would like the POR better but I don't know if I could choose that over CBR.

This past September we moved up from a Value to a Moderate. After looking at different sites (including Buzz2001's) and reading many posts, we chose CS and loved it- the pool, the workout facility, the landscaping, Pepper Market, The Mayan Grille, the hammocks, just everything.

Okay, I am a HUGE CBR fan. It is a great resort! I have NEVER had a bad stay there....ever! and I've been many times....

The rooms are roomy and the food court is good! You don't have to walk that far, you walk farther from Future World to World Showcase it seems! The grounds are beautiful...

anyway, I think CBR is a great choice. Can't wait for the pool remodel!

I voted for POFQ, simply because it's small! At most moderates, I always get a room that is miles and miles from everything. (Ok, small exaggeration but not by much). How many times can I get a room nowhere near the main pool, food court, or a decent bus stop (where you aren't standing-room-only every single time). POFQ is the only place where theoretically, even the farthest flung room (which I stand a good chance of getting) still isn't too far from the center of the resort.

The only other moderate I would consider is Caribbean Beach in a perferred room. I refuse to stay at POR anymore because I can't get a centrally-located room.
