I've only stayed at POR & CBR of the moderates and I didn't care much for CBR but I loved POR. I liked POR even better than WL.

I chose CSR. We've stayed there twice and loved it. We've stayed at all the other moderates and they just don't do much for me...They were nice, but didn't give me the great feeling that CSR does. The whole resort is beautiful, the bus system is fabulous, (5 minute or less wait everytime we used it) Pepper Market has a large variety of good food, the pool and slide are so much fun, landscaping is beautiful....

I have stayed at POFQ, POR, and CSR. And my favorite is POR. It is such a peaceful resort, and a true escape from all the crazyness of the parks. I love the lush, green landscape. The pool area is wonderful, and Piano Man Bob is at the River Roost when I want to listen to some great music. I like that the bus picks up at POR after POFQ, because that means a shorter bus ride to the parks. Plus the boat ride to DTD is much more convenient than taking a bus, and much prettier too.

One last bump. I am shocked as I have never seen POFQ get spanked so badly in a "what's your favorite mod" poll.

It all depends on what your style is because all of the MODs are
very nice.

If you like Southern charm and romance: POR & POFQ
Southwest: CSR
Tropical Island: CBR

We stayed at CSR & POR and liked them both.

1st MOD we had stayed in--CSR seemed to be more gear for Adults because of the Conventions.
POR for Families and Couples--funny thing--on our 2nd MOD stay at POR--my DH thought I decided to pay extra and stay at a Deluxe Resort (he was compairing his stay at CSR to POR)
We visited POFQ and loved the small size, the hot tub, building architecture and will be staying their on our upcoming trip.
We would like to eventually try CBR because it is so beautiful in the
pictures.

POFQ its the smallest mod, the quietest, the best food, first bus drop off, and the atmosphere is relaxing and laid back, whats not to love.

My family and I just returned from our first stay at POFQ. What a fabulous resort! It's smaller than the other MOD resorts, which meant we could allow our pre-teen a little freedom. During previous stays at CBR, and CSP resorts, we were so far away from the foodcourt, pools etc.. that we could not let him go anywhere unescorted. This trip he could get his own refills in his mug, or go to the arcade for a short break. Also, there seems to be a change to the bus routes. We were concerned about having to stop at all the stops in POR before going to any of the parks, but we always seemed to get direct busses to our desitnations. We were only taken into POR once during our week-long stay.

I voted for Caribbean Beach Resort because I feel that once the main pool's remodel has been completed, it'll be an outstanding place to stay! My family and I stayed there twice and I LOVED the resort. It felt tropical and relaxing, and I loved the pastel-colored buildings.

It has the largest rooms of all the moderate resorts and they're actually the same size as 2 of the deluxe resorts rooms (AKL and WL).


I have stayed also at POR and I thought that was a beautiful resort, as well. I really don't think anyone would go wrong choosing ANY of the WDW moderate resorts, but if I was going to choose a moderate resort, I'd choose Caribbean Beach!

I have only stayed at CSR and CBR. For us CSR won hands down. Much nicer and bigger main pool, less spread out, and the best bus service we have had at any Disney Resort!

Since I posted this, the POFQ loyalists have come out of the woodwork and have voiced their opinions!

Just curious to hear what the negatives are for CBR since it finished such a distant last.

I voted for POR only because its the only we've been to! That aside, it was absolutely gorgeous and we would stay there again in a heartbeat (we just want to try something different next time, so CBR here we come!)

I voted for POFQ! It is a beautiful resort and we loved everything about it. It is a small property, but it still was peaceful and relaxing! We would not hesitate to stay there again!

Just curious to hear what the negatives are for CBR since it finished such a distant last.

I can only speak for myself, but we had a very bad experience witht the busses there. Too many stops whithin the resort, and unfortunately for us we were the last picked up, so no where to sit, ever, and the last dropped off, so 15 minutes after you pull into your resort you get dropped off. Also it was very spread out and a long walk to the main pool and food court.

We always like to stay at POR with CS coming in second. We love the atmosphere.
