Which MODERATE is the BEST for you?

We have stayed at CSR twice before and we really like it. What about you... where do you like to stay when it comes to MODERATE RESORTS and why?

We've stayed at CSR, POR, and POFQ for moderates. CSR is my favorite. I like the room decor, the landscaping, and the pool.

My favorite is POFQ. I love the landscaping, the compact size and the theme. This resort is quaint and lovely with a relaxing view of the river and a smallish pool. Love it!

I also like CBR. It is very spread out though so we get preferred rooms. I enjoy sitting on the beach reading in the afternoons.

I've stayed at CSR and CBR - I really enjoyed both resorts. Will be trying POFQ in a few weeks and I really look forward to a smaller resort this time.

We really like POR. Love the lush, landscape, the boat to Downtown Disney, the food court, son loves the arcade. And I like that it is a non-convention resort.

I love POR. Everything about this resort is great to me. Great theming, great food court, Yehaa Bob in the lounge at night, good pool, good activities, it just feels like home.

I have stayed at CBR, POR (when it was Dixie Landings) and CSR and that’s the order I like them.

CBR is my favorite because of the theming, we really liked the quiet pools, the food court was great, their outdoor patio was great and we could watch Illuminations . I have no opinion about the POR pools because it was too cold when we were there, though we loved that theme there too and the food court was nice. I liked CSR least mainly because of the CMs. Almost every one we encountered seemed to have attitude and it really put a black cloud over our stay.

ETA: We were very fortunate to have stayed at a great location at all three resorts and never had a far walk to anything.

We enjoy all the Mods, with the PO resorts and CSR being our main choices to stay at. Our first choice is the PO resorts, especially POR and then CSR, POR just offers more family activities then CSR with boat/bike rentals, Yeehaa Bob and the boat to DTD. But as you can see on our signature we have no issues staying at CSR

We've only stayed at one and that is the Coronado (CSR) -- nine times. We just love everything about it and can't break away from it when we stay moderate (we've been staying DVC Villa on our last two trips).

We have visited all of the other moderates and if, when staying moderate, we could not get the CSR, our only other choice would be POR-Riverside. We like the theme and the food court there is one of the best. POFQ does not appeal as much because no quiet pools (yes, I know you can walk to POR and use their pools but I don't choose to do that) and the theme of Mardi Gras just does't do it for me, and the CBR we hated the food court the two times we ate there and the theme does not appeal to us (we go to the beach for a week after Disney so don't need that theme at our resort).

I've stayed at all the moderates and my favorite is POFQ. I like the theming and its small size.

My second favorite is CBR because of the theming, the beaches and the atmosphere.

For the two of us POFQ is the winner because its small, quiet, the food court is never slammed, the pool is great and the pool bar is even better.

I couldn't have said it any better myself .... I've stayed at all 4 of the moderates and POR is hands down my favorite.

We've stayed at POFQ and CBR. POFQ was by far our favorite moderate! We love the size, it feels so quaint. The water taxi to DtD is great. It never felt like there were a lot of other people staying there. While CBR is nice and we loved the theming of the pirate room, we just didn't like it much. The food court has been the worst we've experienced.
On our next trip we're staying at CSR and can't wait!!

I love POFQ!! For all the reasons that was already mentioned. I love the New Orleans/Mardi Gras theme! This is the closest I am going to get to NO.

I have stayed at all the moderates & POR is my favorite! I adore the lush landscaping, boat to DTD, fabulous pool & great food court. Also rooms are currently under renovation.

POFQ is also very nice & my second choice mod.
CBR is very pretty & well themed, great pool. I found the rooms kinda blah & food options mediocre.

CSR is my least favorite mostly because I find they handle convention traffic poorly & I really dislike the Pepper Market. The resort itself is lovely, very nice guest rooms & pool but the other two issues are dealbreakers for me.

I love your input!! I am hopeful to someday say that I have stayed at most of the WDW resorts... with that being said, I'm also hopeful to win the PA lottery!

Our family really enjoys the POFQ. This will be our second time staying there this coming August! The pool is a big hit with the boys and the landscaping is pretty. The ferry is a nice ride also.

We did enjoy CBR but it is extremely big and we never an issue w/transportation.

So far, POR is our favourite. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food court.
