Going to MK EMH from the cabins. We have a car so trying to decide which would be faster-drive there (realizing we then have to use TTC/ferry/monorail) or take the boat. How often does the boat depart and what is the capacity? I'd hate to have to wait a couple boats worth before it's our turn. Does Ft Wilderness even have busses to MK? Thanks for any help!

I would say hands down take the boat even if you have to wait 2 boats maybe even 3.

No, no buses to MK unless the boats are not running for some reason. The alternative to the boats is a bus to WL, where you can transfer to a bus to MK.

But you will have to take the internal shuttle bus from the bus stop nearest your cabin to the Settlement Depot, to get to the marina. The internal buses run about every 15 minutes.

So you think take the boat even though we have the option to drive ourselves?

Yes. To drive to the TTC from the Fort is taking the great circle route. You either need to leave the Fort and head out Vista Blvd to Bonnet Creek Parkway then to Epcot Center Drive to World Drive thru the toll booths to enter the MK parking or Leave the Fort and head to the TTC on Vista to World Dr. Unfortunately, you can't directly enter the MK parking lot at that point, you need to go up to Seven Seas Dr and take that to Floridian Way and take the left turn into the parking lot just after the WDW Speedway (while it's still there) and before the toll booths. Either way is going to take a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes. Then you still need to take either the ferry or the monorail to the Magic Kingdom.

Take the boat from the Fort. It's really the only sensible way.
