Yes, it's me with another SB question!

When you all do your Scrapbooks (for WDW vacations), Do you do your pages in chronological order like : This is what we did on day one , and then scrap all the pictures and do journaling from day one. Then scrap and journal about everything you did on day 2. And so on.

OR

Do you Scrap by Park:
Here are all Magic Kingdom Pictures, (from days 1, 3 and 4)
Here are all MGM pictures from days (2 and 7)
you get the picture.

My plan was to scrap in chronological order by scrapping and journaling things as they occured throughout the days. But sometimes we would go to more than one park each day, and not really have enough pictures to do a whole layout on that park for that day. I could certainly fill the empty space with journaling as I always have something to say about the parks...lol.
but I think I could make much nicer layouts (and could save space/pages) in my book, by scrapping all the park pictures together. I would just make sure to note under each picture the date that it actually occured. The only problem with this is that I would be scraping my days out of order which I don't like to do.

I know it is all personal preference, but which method of scrapping do you use?

We were VERY blessed to have 4+ weeks of vacation at dh's LAST job. We went to WDW/Orlando for 2 weeks @ a time.

We would visit WDW a # of times during our 2 week stay. It was TOO hard for me to try to make books for each trip. So, I came up with the idea to make a ABC book.

I DID make a b'day book for each of my dd's & my dh. I used a cm 8 1/2 x11 album with pix from their special trip.

hth,

Judy

I am doing a WDW trip book now. (from 2004) I did it with each park together. I made a title page for that section Magic Kingdom, Epcot...... That way when you look at the book years from now you will know that this ride was in Magic Kingdom etc. :)

My last album, I did by park and I am planning on doing this one the same way. That way, I use the same color scheme for each park so it flows nicely. (i.e. greens/tans/tropical prints for animal kingdom/primary colors for Magic Kingdom and MGM and dark antque like colors for Epcot.) That is how the last album is. This album, I am planning on doing it the same way so you clearly see when you get to a new section. I like to keep things in the same color family or hue tone and use different pattens and designs to mix things up. I hope this makes sense.

This is going to be an odd question....
But by any chance did you go to a crop last Jan in Exton PA? Held by Jane Desiderio? Only reason I ask there was a lady there who had a wonderful scrapbook and that is exactly how she did it!

Hi,
here is the crop I am going to in Oct. It is such a fun time! This is the first year to have an entire weekend! But if it is anything like her day long crop it will be a total blast!
Would be fun to meet some other DIS'ers! I have met Maggie (NICURN)and Pam(PAMMYJO). They are actually coming up for the Creative Keepsaking Convention the end of the month! That is going to be a blast! Can't wait!
