Which meal to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table?

I would like to get everyone's opinion on which meal they feel is the best at Cinderella's Royal Table. We will be on the dining plan and therefore my inclination is to go for dinner. I have been for breakfast (which was awesome!) but have not been there since they switched things to the package with pictures.

We will be traveling with a 6 year old and she loves the princesses.

So, which one is better? Any other tips regarding the eating at Cinderella's Royal Table? Which characters do they have? same characters at all the meals? Do they come around to your tables?

Thanks, guys!

I would recommend dinner. DH and I both had the prime rib and thought it was excellent. Appetizers and desserts just ok.

Although there are no characters during dinner, you still get to meet Cinderella in the lobby and take a picture which they make into a package and deliver to your table at no extra charge.

You also get to watch a small show by the fairy godmother and mice, but they do not do meet and greets during dinner. They mostly give special attention to those celebrating something like a birthday or anniversary.

My DD got a toy wand souvenir and I noticed boys were getting swords.

The atmosphere in the castle is great and memorable too.

I would also try requesting a table at a window overlooking fantasyland.

We booked dinner too. I am also wondering what to get for dinner. I know the characters dont come around to you. The lamb chops sound good b/c i have never had them before. I hope you can get them medium well, my only thoughts of them are rare in the middle,,,eww.

After reading a lot of reviews, the cream cheese buckle is very popular.

Enjoy your dinner! Atleast i can say we ate in the castle, and we get a picture from it. But i do hope the food is good!

I prefer lunch with younger kids---it is more Princessy, but breakfast interferes with prime morning touring. With older kids/adults, I'd lean to dinner.

Before dinner, Cinderella will meet you in the lobby and you will have your picture taken. During dinner, the Fairy Godmother and the mice will do a little show, but they do not go from table to table to visit.

Each time we have eaten there I have gotten the Prime Rib and it has always been delicious.

We went this past February and had Dinner at CRT. It was great! My DH and mom both had the prime rib and felt it was ok. I had the pasta dish and it was DELICIOUS! I mean really good! I love the appys and bread/butter, so yummy and different.
This time we are going to try to do lunch, my daughter specifically asked to see more princesses this time. They loved the interaction with Cindy in the foyer, but she really wants to see Ariel and Belle.

Thank you so much! I had no idea that there was no character interaction during dinner. What about lunch? do the characters come around during lunch? or is it only breakfast?

Thanks! You guys are the bomb!

We start every trip with breakfast at CRT. I always get the "healthy choice" option (which I don't think is that healthy-- it's yogurt, fruit, granola, and glazed bananas. It's awesome LOL). The rest of the family thinks the regular breakfast is perfectly adequate (minus the eggs-- we are all picky about our eggs)

We prefer breakfast for a few reasons:

The kids dress in costumes and they usually want to change into street clothes later

We like getting there before the park opens, for photo ops

We had dinner once and we weren't "wowed" by the food (however the view from inside the restaurant was gorgeous after dark!)

Have fun! :thumbsup2

I would recommend lunch. It was a great break at mid-day and the food was really good. We caught Snow White, Belle, Jasmine, Fairy Godmother and Cinderella in the lobby. I would do breakfast or lunch so you get the princesses; it really saves having to go through the Toontown princess tent.

If you can't get it, try Storybook Dining at Epcot in Norway. They now do a picture package, too, and you might actually see Ariel with feet, and Belle in her yellow dress, neither of which you will see at the castle. I hear that the best chance of seeing Ariel at Akershus is at dinner.
