I'm traveling with my mom who will be the main traveler since she is paying for the trip. I will we doing all of the planning and reservations (with the help a TA most likely.) I have a MDE account in my name, and i made a separate one with a different email, in her name.

Which account should i use to book the resort, dinning ressies, and everything?
Does it matter which I use?

Both of you should be family with eachother and both should be on the hotel reservation so it wouldn't matter.

You just need to make sure to include her when making ADRs and such.

That is the way it seemed for my wife and myself at least.

I emailed an "invitation to plan together" and accepted it on her account. And now part of the "family& friends" thing. So when i give my info to my TA it will show for both us then? Does Disney care if the MDE account name is different from the credit card name? lol I think that's what i am confused/scared about.

When it comes to linking a reservation to MDE, it does not matter what name is on the CC that was used to secure the reservation.

I'm going to WDW with my parents and my niece this August. I booked everything (resort/FP+/dining) on my mde account. When I booked dining, I used my credit card to make ADRs, but I was able to use my dad's credit card to pay off our balance tonight. I was worried that the CM on the phone wouldn't let me, but she said it was no problem.

I used my own account because it was easiest for me, and I'm the sole person in charge of planning.

It doesn't matter which account you use to make plans. We took a trip with my parents. We stayed in a room that they paid for. I made most of the reservations under my name, using my MDE, with my CC and we had no problems at all. Think of it this way, you don't have to have an onsite stay to make dining reservations, book tours, etc. Therefore, the name on these reservations in no way has to match up with any reservations on the hotel side of things.
