Hi everyone:
I think this is my first time here on the DLR board. DH and I are taking a 2-week cruise on the Disney Wonder through the Panama Canal next May, ending up in San Diego.
We are planning on going to DLR on the day we get off the ship (would be fairly early in the morning), which is a Friday (May 15) and staying until Sunday the 17th so that would give us most of Friday and all of Saturday, and maybe a little of Sunday depending on what time our flight is.
We are only interested in visiting the Magic Kingdom for the classics, plus lunch at Blue Bayou. We won't be going to California Adventure or any other areas of DLR.
I have health and mobility issues, and we won't have a car with us. We'll be taking it slow, and since we're only interested in the Magic Kingdom, I think this is plenty of time. It's been about 20 years since I've been to DLR and DH has never been there, so we thought this would be a great opportunity to go.
It's a long story, but after spending the last 5+ weeks in 2 suites of a Marriott property, we now have a million Marriott Reward points to use.
Which of the following properties would you recommend for us? We'd be walking, I guess, to DLR, unless the hotels have transportation....??
Any and all feedback is welcome!
#1: Fairfield Inn Anaheim Resort "0 miles" from DLR
#2: Residence Inn Anaheim Maingate "0.5 miles" from DLR
#3: Courtyard Anaheim at Disneyland Resort "0.9 miles" from DLR
I know that the closest one on a map isn't necessarily the closest one when walking to the entrance of DLR. Any help with this?? Thanks!!!
