Which line app is the most accurate?

Of course I already have MDE loaded on my phone but is that the best one? I have a touring plans subscription so I could get that one free too.

I have always found the Touring Plans Lines app to be right on target. My DH uses a free one that is not nearly as accurate.

With the advent of FP+, I would think that Disney wait times must be directly tied into MDE and be spot on as to what the sign says, no???

Comparing Touring Plans WDW Lines app to MDE right now, there's really almost nothing to choose in terms of actual times given.

But WDW Lines offers times for more stuff (not just the rides).

Well within a few minutes of each other yes. One might say 3 minutes while the other says 5 (I think MDE only does 5 minute increments) but I'm not seeing any 15 minute discrepancies.

And if the difference is smaller than that does it matter very much?

Perhaps today is not the best day to test, because really there don't seem to be much in the way of lines in the MK (according to the apps, I'm not there).

But Touring Plans giving Meet & Greet wait times is a bonus because I don't see that info in MDE.

I like Lines because it also has the actual wait someone experienced - under expected. It could change as they go through the line, but I know I did that on our last trip and got a few in - sometimes hard to push the button and get on the line all at the same time!

Do you mean MDE wait times matched the posted wait times or the actual wait times? Touring Plans app seems to have a lot of instances were actual wait times were much lower than posted.

Lines app was the best for us without a doubt.

MDE had BTM up and running all day when it actually was closed for five hours!

MDE matches the posted wait times. In my experience actual wait times are almost always a little less than the posted times.

The touring plans folks really have it nailed- and the optimizer feature in the lines app is perfect for flexibility / spontaneity! long live Lines App
