Which land would you go first on a "Forget about it" day?

I would start in Adventureland/New Orleans Square/Frontierland area. Your kids are older and will likely appreciate Splash, Pirates, Indy, and Big Thunder more than Dumbo, Alice in Wonderland and Peter Pan. Plus, that back area of the park gets busy slowly, and it's easy to grab a FP on your way in for Big Thunder or Haunted Mansion, head to Splash, Pooh, maybe snag an order of Mickey beignets and do Jungle Cruise, grab a FP for Indy providing you are within the window for HMH / BTMRR, then head over to ride Haunted Mansion / Big Thunder and voila!

Thanks for these ideas. Looks like a good plan to follow.
So JC and Pirates get busy faster than Splash & Pooh ?
So it like to do JC and Pirates before Splash & Pooh (do these together as they are close by ) ?

Regarding Peter Pan; the DL version is not identical to one at the MK, but it's pretty similar. There are some different elements.
Thanks Figment_jii.... I like your avatar photo but is that Figment with a hat ? LOL... I like it but couldn't really regconise the character.

So looks like it worth to ride PP now. :duck:

So the "forget about it day" on DL was ok until we left for afternoon break. At RD, we started AL and Frontier. Indy was down for 1st 20 mins or so, we skipped it and returned later. wait time was 10 mins when we returned. No line at FP distribution either. Pirates, BTMRR, HMH, JC was 5 - 10 mins. At 10am we hit FantasyLand for the lower wait time rides, before lunch at 11am and back to nap.

When we came back at 3.30pm, we had to wait at the entrance due to the parade.
The park was packed as predicted. We still able to complete ST (got FP after lunch), Magic Map and all of toonytown by 6pm.

We managed to get a spot near the Emporium exit for the candlelight processional which had a clear but diagonal view.

I must say that all went as plannd, even the FP returns time was predictable so they fall within the planned times
