OK trying to figure out which lands are most crowded and should be hit at park openings on a weekday the end of August - not on any emh or emh day.

I have two boys 4 & 6 they are pretty brave as well so we can hit some scary rides that they are tall enough for - one is 40 inches the other 46inches.

We'll be going the first day at opeing and staying till dnr with a sitdown meal at plaza for lunch and buffet dnr at CP at 6:30p and then will probably head back to cbr after.

We usually hit Adventureland first. I know a lot of people run to Tomorrowland and Frontierland to do the 3 roller coasters when the park first opens.

Just a warning: sometimes Adventureland opens 1hr after the park opens.

Fantasyland, to avoid getting stuck in the hot, unthemed switchback queues as the park gets busier.

We go to Adventureland first. But, we also go to MK 3 days and spend each day in two lands.

I'd expect more people to have said Fantasyland. That's usually where I head first. I remember on the Travel Channel special on WDW, the mother (who, I think comes here to the DIS-Hi!) said that most people start in Tomorrowland.

Frontierland, so we can hit Splash and Big Thunder a few times before it gets crowded, since those are our two favorite MK rides.

yea i agree, i definitely like to hit those two mountains before their queues get really crazy

First day at the World is ALWAYS Mk and first land is ALWAYS fantasyland after a SLOW stroll down main street... I like to fully submerge myself in pure Disney and what better place than fantasyland?

If it during the EHM-AM, go to Fantasyland to do those oh-so-delightful rides that develop oh-so-unbelievably-long lines (yes, I know about FastPass....).

If regular hours: if you have little ones, see above. Otherwise, do the Mountains of your choice.

Oh, BTW - doesn't Adventureland still have those "opening later" hours for some attractions? I'd hate to wait at the rope, then find out they didn't open until an hour later....

what my family found that works is going straight to Adventureland cause most people go right out of natural instinct. also tomorrowland is to the right. we usually get on the first jungle cruise ride to start the day off and hit up flying carpets of aladdin and then whatever else we want to go on at that time. then just follow all the way around leaveing tomorrowland last. we usually though skip over frontierland cause thats where most people finally meet up. think if people are coming from tomorroland and the the people coming from adventureland the all meet up in the middle mid-day in frontierland. so we skip over it and go to the next land then back track because by then their out of frontierland and roller coasters are down to 15 minute lines :cool1: . did you get all that? ha ha sorry if i confused you. pretty simply put start in frontierland work your way to tomorrowland. :teeth:

This is exactly how we do it!

We hit Fantasyland first to get Dumbo, Pooh, Peter Pan and the tea cups out of the way. The lines get too long for us later in the day. :wave2:

We had always gone to Tommorowland first, but when we went on the KTTK tour, he said to work clockwise. We went Adventureland, then Fronteirland, then Liberty Square (or something like that) When we got there, it was a ghost town!

A few days later we tried Adventureland first again, and again it was a ghost town.

Shhh! Stop telling everyone.:ssst:

My favorite land is the "Land of the Main Street Bakery" for the French Toast Loaf! Wouldn't be a trip to MK without it!

We hit Tommorowland first for Space Mtn for DS when we went in 03' and DD and I road TTA a couple of times while we waited. This time I gave DD her choice of either Tommorowland or Frontierland first and she chose Frontierland and BTMR as the first ride. The 2nd day we spend in MK we will go to Tommorrowland first. :sunny:

We go straight to Splash, and BTMRR! Then we hop the tain ride it around and go from there!

Depends: if I have an early breakfast at CP I immediately go to Fantasyland to ride Dumbo& PeterPan Flight
If I get there at 9: I head for tomorrowland for Buzz Lightyear
If I getg there in the afternoon: I go for Adventureland and Pirates of Carrib.

I have been known it quickly change direction if I see the crowd is heading for my original destination.
:cool1: :yay: :yay: :thumbsup2
