Which Kennel at WDW will walk your pets for you - at a charge??? If anyone has ever used them, what experience did you have?? Don't they charge for this??
I have used the Kennels at each park but never asked about walking the "babies" during the day or at night tme.... Thanks

From the All Ears website -

"With the exception of guide and service dogs, none of the Disney resorts allow pets in the rooms. There are a few campsites at Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground that allow Guests to keep pets with them, but this does not include the cabins. Pets cannot be kept in tents or pop-up campers.

There are five kennels at Walt Disney World, and each of them will board your pets overnight. The kennels are located at Epcot, Disney-MGM Studios, Animal Kingdom, the Transportation and Ticket Center, and Fort Wilderness. The cost is $11.00 per night and includes food, as long as your pet is not exotic. (Price subject to change.) Remember to bring your pet's vaccination papers with you, and if you have an unusual pet, you must provide your own escape-proof cage or carrier. Guests are required to visit and exercise pets at least once a day, but three times per day is recommended. For more information on pet boarding, call 407-824-6568.

Have fun on your vacation!"

Epcot has a walking service. I believe the cost was $2.50/walk when we used it (12/03). They had us specify the times we wanted her walked (tailored to your dog). I highly recommend this service. It was worth every cent to us! We used Epcot no matter which park we were in that day.

LovePug: Thanks so much. That is what I wanted. I knew someone had to have used that service. I am sure it is definitely worth the $2.50 p/walk.
Again, thanks so much.

I had no idea WDW had kennels! I wish we could bring our two Corgis along, but there would be no room in our car for most of our other stuff if we took them with us! We end up adding a lot to the cost of our vacation just to board them while we're away.

I've never used the "walk" system, but plan to do so. I do know now that you have to get there very early in the morning because they have only so many CM's who walk them.

The kennels are very large and extra clean. You should bring your own water bowl and food, tho. They are so large, that you can get two large doggies in one kennel area.

I recommend any of them very highly. And $11. per day is great.

If you want to walk your own dogs, the kennel at the TTC is a great one! It is right there as you get off the buses/monorail and very clean and staff is great.

I would love to have my 2 poms walked when we go, but my oldest one is very very aggressive to strangers and Im afraid he would nip the CM or just be too rough to handle. So, I take responsiblitly into my own hands. It really isnt that bad having to walk my pups 3x a day. I enjoy them! They are on vacation 2!!!!!!!!!! :Pinkbounc

I assume you mean the individual dog runs are big? Can you give an approximate size? We normally send the boys to kennel-camp at home when we go Home since it has nice 4x20ish runs split between inside and outside sections so they can take in the fresh air.

Thanks,
Joe
