Which items WON'T you go budget on?

Shoes, Food, and Meds make up my top three.

Mayo, Hellmans or Best Foods
Quaker Oats, just wait until they are on sale
Angel soft (Charmin clogged the pipes)
Kraft mac and cheese (the ONLY one my grandsons will eat)
Hebrew National franks, fat fre, IF I buy hot dogs
Ziplock bags, I wash and reuse them, bargain brands are not good for that. They are not too outrageous at Sams.
Kids clothes, Wal Mart to Lands end, if I find a sale
Blue puppy food, as my daughters dog is part Moose, judging by her size. I want her to be healthy, with as few vet bills as possible.

I just found a store brand of soda we actually like. HEB diet orange soda. Will always buy Sunkist if it is on sale though.

Oh, and Crocs!

#1 -- Heinz ketchup. NO SUBSTITUTES!

Nathan's hot dogs OR DD likes the Oscar Meyer kind with the little dots of cheese in them.

Angel Soft TP (although Target's brand is close/okay). NO Scotts - that's cardboard TP! Charmin has always seemed a little too luxurious/cottony soft for TP, and I do see how it could clog the pipes!

I like several kinds of peanut butter (Jif, Skippy, Skippy natural, Peter Pan), but NOT store brands.

Tampax before I became a Diva cup gal.

One time when I was a kid, I was at the grocery store with my mom and my dear gramma (no longer with us). My mom was trying to buy generic ketchup, and my gramma rolled her eyes and said, "I wouldn't hit a dog in the a$$ with that!" I laugh out loud every time I think about that!

Twinnings Tea, they did not have Lipton in Disney and that was all that I drank so I tried to Twinnings Breakfast tea and now I like that WAY better!
And only Breyers Ice Cream

Clothes and anything on vacation. I like a five star hotel (the Ritz) and first class on a plane. DH and I both work 2 jobs and we both work very hard. We like to be pampered and relax when we get a chance to go away. I would never go on a vacation if I had to worry about money and eat PB&J in the room. And I would never go on a vacation if I did not have the cash to pay for it before I went.

I actually love it! My mom thinks I am crazy! I really get excited over the themed krispy chocolate coins: Monster Money at Halloween, Bunny Munny at Easter, etc.

I am a very high maintenance person who practically only stays in 5star and flys on Biz and First class, carries Prada and wears Gucci but for some reason I L-O-V-E this stuff. I also like Peeps.

I second this, I didnt realize I was so picky about razors until I was in the store, and wouldnt think of buying anything besides the Intuition (despite the sticker shock!)

Definitely have to go with Q-Tips. I only buy the brand name. the store brand ones hardly have any cotton on the end and you end up scraping your ear with the hard end of a stick.

I don't spend a lot of money on myself at all. However I do go to a good salon that is expensive and I do pay a lot for color/hi-lights/haircuts. I can cut back on all sorts of things if need be...but my hair NO WAY. That is the one splurge I will probably never ever part with.

Now that I am a woman of a certain age (50), my feet seem to have given up on me. I can no longer wear cheap or even moderate shoes. Has to be Danskos for work, Keens and Birkenstocks for play. I can sometimes get away with my Teva sandals. Sadly, my vast collection of Crocs are no longer comfortable long-term.

I refuse to go anything but Tampax tampons especially down there. I also won't go generic on Diet Coke/soda because the store brands just don't taste the same. I won't go budget on Tylenol either.

I tried using cheaper brands and they left my hair limp and lifeless. I only use Pantene, but try to buy it on sale.

I won't pump my own gas unless there is absolutely no other alternative.

Good luck finding a station that still has someone to pump gas around here. I don't think I have seen a full service station in a decade or so.

The last time I had an opportunity for full service I was in NJ and there its required by law.

OHH I LOVE twinnings but I cannot get the flavor I want in the US outside of Epcot. We did a 6 month search for it. Needless to say I am stocking up when we go down in June LOL!!

Though celestial seasoning isn't bad, its just not as good.
