Which Island?

My brother is planning "the trip" to WDW, where he is going to propose to his girlfriend. They want to stay at the CBR. Any ideas as to what the best "island" would be? Something pretty, but that's still close to the buses and cafeteria.

A few years back my husband and I were at the CBR and I loved it .. but I can't remember where we stayed. What I do remember is that we had the best stop for the buses. We never had to stand because the bus was full, because we were one of the first stops, and the upon return, we were always one of the first dropped off. Does anyone know where we were staying?? Thanks!

I believe that would be Jamaica. The yellow and blue buildings.

Does anyone know the bus route or pick-up schedule for the CBR? What order does it pick up in (within the CBR). Also .. does it pick up at any other resorts? Thanks!

When we stayed, CBR was not stopping anywhere else, and when we were there, Jamaica was picked up to go to the parks last and first to be dropped off, but I hear they change it around. I think any of the islands will be nice, but we like Jamaica alot.

I STAYED AT THE CBR IN NOV. AND ABSOLUTLEY LOVED IT. MY VOTE IS FOR JAMAICA. I LOVE THE COLORS OF THE BUILDING (YELLOW & BLUE). WE HAD A VIEW OF A COURTYARD WHICH WAS REALLY NICE. I'M NOT TO SURE ABOUT THE BUSSES B/C WE TOOK OUR CAR EVERYWHERE. HAVE A GREAT TRIP.

liked Trinidad South. However, it's not close to the main area like you seem to want. We really liked being further away. The walk to Port Royale is beautiful.
Just a thought but for a honeymoon Trinidad South might be a good idea.

If you want information on CBR I suggest reading the CBR thread listed below. It contains lots of good information on the resort and recent travel reports.

If you have any more CBR questions I suggest posting in that thread. You can always find the CBR thread because it is contained in the Resorts thread that is always at the top of the board.

They will love CBR.

We have stayed in Jamaica and Aruba. We request a building near the bridge.

You just walk over the bridge onto a small island and you are at the food court. Very pleasing in the am on the coffee trip.

Jamaica is the Yellow and Aruba is the pink. When we stayed in Aruba, the Jamaica bus stop was closest to us.

Jamaica and Martinique are the first pick ups, depending on the route the bus takes.

We loved the quiet pools. The main pool was a bit busy.
