Hi Guys

I am planning my trip again for Nov 2015 and I want to know which is worse in terms of travel days

Is it worse to leave to come back to Australia the day before thanksgiving or on thanksgiving? My current projected dates are Nov 16-25 but was just thinking about it last year we left 2 days after and it was super easy no dramas etc

They say (news reports that is) that the worst travel day would be the Sunday after Thanksgiving. So the Friday or Saturday after may be a lot easier on you. Friday may be good, since it's considered "Black Friday" and everyone is shopping maybe instead of traveling

With the dates you gave, Thanksgiving Day is better. The Wednesday before is another heavy travel day.
